Hello

Welcome to my journal. I am very very new to WISH but not the DIS. LOOOOVE the DIS! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Disneyland! LOL Who doesn't?!

I am 28 years old, married for 10 years to my high school schweetheart and we have two amazingly adorable daughters, 7.5 and 4. I live in California and am a newly stay at home mom. YAY!!

Went to the gyno on May 23rd and he decided to have my blood sugar tested because we have been trying for baby #3 since May 2006 and out of whack sugar can really mess with your fertility. Turns out I have diabetes. GAA!! I have lost about 25 pounds on my own since July 2006 and am here to lose another 52 by December 15th (I do best if I challenge myself!) to bring me under 200 pounds. I haven't been under 200 since I got married in 1996!! AACK!! :scared1: LOL

I appreciate and welcome any and all comments and support and look forward to establishing good relationships of support with the WISH peeps! I journal everything I eat, TRYING to stay within 1500-1700 calories a day. If I don't post my journal every day, I will do it during the weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
 
Blood sugar this AM-227

Breakfast:
2 slices whole wheat breads
2 T. peanut butter
1 T. Reduced sugar strawberry jam
8 oz. 2% milk
total calories-500

Snack:
Fat Free Hot Dog
South Beach Diet Chocolate bar
total calories-200 calories

Dinner:
3 oz. 96% fat free hamburger patty
1 slice 2% cheese
1/4 cup of beans
1/4 cup of corn casserole
1/4 cup pasta salad
total calories-800 calories

Dessert:
SIL's sinfully delicious fatty ice cream goodness
total calories-500 calories (OMG!)

Total for the day-2000 calories :scared1:

Exercise: Walked 2 miles in the blazing hot sun :headache:

Breakfast 8:30am:
2 eggs
spinach and tomatoes
1 Whole wheat tortilla
total calories-300

Snack 10:45am:
2 cups frozen green beans
total calories-100

Lunch 12pm:
3 oz. 96% lean ground beef
Beans
Corn casserole
total calories-450 calories

Snack 6:15pm:
1/4 cup sugar free/fat free JellO pudding
total calories-100 calories

Dinner 8:15pm:
2 pcs. homemade lean lasagna
1 cup green beans
total calories-550 calories

Dessert:
1/2 cup. No Sugar Added ice cream
total calories-100

Total for day: 1600 calories

Exercise:
20 minute walk in the AM
15 min. exercise video in early evening

Breakfast 8:45am:
1 whole wheat tortilla
2 eggs
salsa
apple
total calories-350

Lunch 12pm:
Lean Pocket
1 cup green beans
1/2 cup sugar free/fat free pudding
total calories-450

Snack 5:30pm:
Corn casserole
8 oz. 2% milk
total calories-300

Dinner 7:30pm:
3 oz. lean pork
2 corn on the cobs
1 bite of pie (yay for me, threw it away after 1 bite!)
1/2 cup SF/FF pudding
1 squirt of whipped cream
total calories-500

Calories for the day-1600

Exercise-sadly, none. Muscles REALLY hurt from *beginner* exercise video yesterday. Beginner my big butt! LOL

Lunch 12pm:
1/3 cup green beans
2 pcs. homemade lean lasagna

Snack 2:30pm: <sugar attack! LOL!>

South Beach Diet chocolate bar

Now, I don't know what I had for dinner this night because I didn't write it down. I THINK I ended up bingeing on 2 bowls of not healthy cereal.
