Crazy WOC ?

Has anyone thought to bring a little fold up stool for a child to use to view WOC? We have one that is only about a foot high, but it would boost up a child just a bit. Especially one that is too old (but still too short) to be carried on one's hip during the show. Would this be unfair to others?

Disney does not allow any kind of chair. There was a man in front of us as we were going through the area where they check your bags and he had a small Eddie Bauer fold up style stool that also had a cooler area where they had their snacks and they were denied entrance stating there were absolutely no chairs of any kind allowed.

I have thought about that. Also, thinking of making sure I have a stroller, to help stake our spot and then if we are not on a rail and my son could not see, I (his father may not be)would be willing to put the brakes on and have him stand in the seat during the show, with his father and I on either side, to make sure he does not fall. That is my plan B. It will not make him taller than us, or other adults, so does not seem unfair to people behind us. But I am really going to try hard to get a rail spot, and if I do, I will be one of those that brings all the near by kids to the rail to help them see.

This past weekend DD used her stroller as a stool both times we saw WOC ~ I locked the wheels and held on to her, no problems.

Would love this option but DD is 8 and out of a stroller. Thanks though!

My son is too. 7 but out of a stroller, but I am getting one just for the show. For one thing it will be 2 hours of waiting and his behavior will be more tolerable if he is seated with a game system or movie on the itouch thing. And secondly to stake our spot. And 3rd as an emergency stool. Well worth the 1/2 price disney visa deal of about $7.00.
