Anyone else from Southern Ontario dealing with loads of snow? Thankfully we don't live in London (sorry for those of you that do!) but we've gotten quite a bit in Ingersoll. The kids have had snow days for 2 days already because they are under the same school board as London. I'm hoping they go back tomorrow....I know London won't be!

Hi from Paris, here we just have a dusting of snow and I don't mind it but just a little more for christmas would be nice.

We got at least another 10 cm last night...and no school again. My Dh works in Woodstock and there is very little snow there either...he said there is a "line"....he'll be driving with no snow and then all of a sudden it is crazy and there is snow everywhere!

Living in Stratford, we are used to lots of snow as we live in the middle of the "snow belt", but we only have about 12 cm of snow with the majority coming last night. We are very lucky. We were in Frankenmuth, Michigan on the weekend and when we came back on Monday, we had to drive through the storm to get home. Very scary!!!

Hey Hoogy, keep that snow under control ok? Will be at Mt. Elgin Golf Club on the 19th for a family gathering and that's just south of you.
I drove through your area yesterday on the way home from Sarnia. We got hit a bit, but did not see nearly the amount that Lucan got. I was just glad for my all wheel drive.

Happily living in the snow bubble of Waterloo region. I can still see my grass through the snow I have.

Though we do make sure and call the MIL in London to make sure she is home and not stuck in a snow bank somewhere.

I'm in Delhi (between Simcoe and Tillsonburg) and its a winter wonderland here right now and snowing BIG flakes

So much for moving to the so called "Banana Belt"

Just wondering if the Palm tree's in Port Dover & Turkey Point will survive :confused3

I'm from London and there is a lot of snow :sad2:

Monday when I went to get into my van the snow drift was so deep on the driver side that it covered the handle. It took me 1/2 an hour to dig out the van so I could leave without getting stuck. Thank goodness my daughter was home from school and shovelled so I could get into the driveway.

Yesterday my office was closed and I shovelled probably about 10 cm off the driveway every two hours. All the way until about 5:00pm. By the end of the day the piles of snow on each side of my driveway reached about chest height.

Today the schools are still closed and none of the city busses are running, but the roads are finally in decent shape.

We live close to Windsor and we have no snow YET! :confused3 Enjoying it while it lasts. :rolleyes1

Lucky you :goodvibes

My house last night (have had more snow since then)

Iluvwesties, your house looks beautiful.

I'm in Barrie and we are getting battered too. Not as bad as London (yet) but it just won't stop. We had an hour or so of sunshine this afternoon but then the squalls moved back in. UGH! I hate winter.

I guess we'll have a White Christmas ;)

I am down by Sarnia and we have nothing. I am so glad that I moved out of london in the summer...LOL. Lucan has more then london I seen on the news they have 153 cms. Crazy

We were in Windsor this weekend for a basketball tournament. It was snowing in London when we left but as soon as we got out of the city limits it was clear. On the way back it was clear until we hit the London city limits and then there was snow everywhere :headache:

The weathernetwork this morning said London is up to 80cm and Lucan... 171 :scared1: Never thought I'd be happy to only have 80 :lmao:

Well, we finally got some snow early this morning......but it melted by mid afternoon. ;)

They're calling for a 'snow storm' Sunday....but I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm in Woodstock and it is a bit warmer today which actually worries me. I'm worried that the rain will freeze tomorrow as it gets cold again. The only plus is that we might have bus cancellations on Monday and (fingers crossed) school closures. After years of driving out of snow to London, it was nice to have the weather go the other way!
Have you all seen the temperatures in Orlando this week? BELOW freezing!!
