I was just thinking about if there were an emergency at Disneyland. Is the only exit out the main gate? I was thinking they would need to have more exits but the only one I can think of is the main gate? Thanks!

There are cast member entrance/exits that are well hidden and that most people pay no attention to. If there was a serious problem and they needed to, they could use these to get people out. I'm pretty sure they could even bring in vehicles in some areas if necessary. The CM would direct people where to go if something happened. I don't think fire codes would allow so many people in one location without enough exits.

not a crazy question with earthquakes and such you never know but the front entrace actually open up wider for a mass exodus. it's actually per fire code for as many people that the park holds. The blue gates and are between the turnstile and such open up and out allowing a much wider and bigger flow out should there be an emergency. And yes as others have said there are back entrance and exit that guests could use in case of emergency.

They almost certainly have backstage exits. Come to think of it... I think at WDW one time, we were shown out through a "hidden" exit after a very crowded Fantasmic at DHS. Spoils a little of the magic, though about as much as seeing CMs in costume out in public. Sometimes it's necessary!
