Crazy nuts weather...

Kathy, remember to wrap your Beagle up in the red blanket.. :goodvibes

Mid 70s when I got up at 7:00, but it's supposed to get steadily cooler/colder as the day and then night go on. This is anticipated to be the warmest part of the day.

I'm doing the "no tech school today" dance since an ice storm sent school from opening at noon to total call off!

well it was almost 70 here today. tomorrow we're supposed to have thunderstorms, it's supposed to be about 65. and then after tomorrow we drop down to the 30's

seems like everyone is having crazy weather lately!

Pretty much the same for us here in NE PA today too. My forsythia bush has about 10 blooms on it! Wacky weather indeed!

This is nuts...it was HOT yesterday....snowing today. What is up with that?

It is kinda pretty, though.

Here in St.louis we were warm yesterday and now today it is feezing rain right now and are calling for snow tonight. This weather is crazy.

Well, it's moving our way:( Today, right now it's 77, it was 64bwhen I took one DD to school this AM, the other is home with throw up virus. Yesterday, we were supposed to have partly cloudy and 70, instead we had storms and rain off and on. Tonights projected low is 64, tomorrows high is 63 (go figure!) and tomorrows low is 35, oh yeah, and winds and more thunderstorms tomorrow morning! Two weeks ago we had a little wind come through and take out a tree and part of our dock (luckily the tree fell that way and not on the house). I hope that all of you midwesterners are finally getting a break though!

Yep, the kids were outside in shorts yesterday afternoon. And today they were sent home early from school because of icy roads.

In the almost eighty years of my life I have never seen a warm sunny day in November that was followed by a sharp cold front that lowered the temps significantly. NO, this has never happened.

Must be terrorists playing with Mother Nature.

I woke up sweating this AM. When I left to go to the gym it was 75. When I got to the gym (10 minutes) the temp dropped like 15 degrees. 1 1/2 hours later my car themometer read 41 degrees and it was spitting snow or sleet. BRRRRR I was cold. I closed up the house before I left and it's still warm and humid inside. BRRRR time to light the furnace and maybe a fire

yup, here in Houston last night at midnight it was mid seventies and really humid with blue skies all day. This morning at 8 when I got up-40 degrees outside and gray and windy.....yesterday Iwas roasting at school, today I'll be freezing at work...I wish the weather would just make up its mind already!

It's 36 and misting where I am, north of Houston.

DD21 text-messaged me at 3am to tell me that it was snowing in Lubbock. This morning, they had 3" on the ground.

It's nasty out here! :sad2:

Yep - Tuesday I was in short sleeves & flip flops, today I'm in sweats & covered with a blanket! We had an ice storm move in yesterday & today it's still sleeting - I thought we were going to get snow, that I can deal with. But, ice - yuck - keeps me locked indoors!

We are having a lovely ice storm right now. It has been going on since noon and is supposed to change to snow by 9pm. Then it is supposed to snow all night till around 9am. I just got to work and it took me 1 1/2 hours to get here. The real kicker is they sent everyone else home at 3pm. But us poor IT people have to be here 24/7.

We've had sleet/freezing snow or fluffy snow off and on all day. It's 26 degrees, and we're looking at a low of 22 tonight. This is after 80 degrees yesterday!

The poor dog is so confused, when I let her out, she turns around QUICK and tries to scoot back in the house. :teeth:

What part of Texas are you in? We just got a call from DS, who lives in Denton. It's 28 degrees there, with a wind chill of 14. The water pipes in his apartment are frozen, and he can't get into his truck to go to work because his locks are frozen as well. Looks like Chilli's is going to be short one server tonight!
