Crazy next couple of weeks

We are having our kitchen completley renovated. Demolition starts on 10/6 or 10/7. I am a total pack rat and have lots to empty out. I also have to pack up all my moms hummels because they are on the opposite wall of kitchen. There are tons of them, too. Even though we have a small galley kitchen we are have a partial wall torn out and electrical work done in the living room too so this is going to take several weeks. I hate dust but I guess I'll have to live with it. Once the cabinets are installed it will take 2 weeks for the counters to come in (zodiaq). We (DH and I) are flying to WDW on 10/10 and returning lat 10/16. DS will be home supervising. I just hope everything will be done by November.

I hope you're not having Expo Design do the work - it'll take 6 months! (family joke - my sis had them renovate her kitchen and her only bathroom - they took out the toilet and didn't put it back for 6 months! Needless to say, she had to move out!)

Kidding aside, it's so exciting to have improvements done on your house! Good that you're "getting out of town" for part of it. I hope it all goes smoothly!
