Due to unexpected circumstances as of this morning, we have the opportunity to take a VERY last minute trip next week. I have a room booked at Coronado. I'm used to spending months planning! We will have 5 park days. Any advice on how to plan this last minute?! I should add it will be myself, dh, dd(6) and did (20 months)!

We are also planning a last minute trip and I have been pleasantly surprised with FPP availability. Even Seven Dwarfs and the Navi River Journey have been there.

It may be an opportunity to try a few restaurants that you might not have if you'd have been able to make 180 day ADR. Should still be lots of choices.

I bet you'll have an awesome time.

ETA: if you can get near Casitas section you'll be away from construction and near bus stop #2 which is the first pick up.

I would take a look at a crowd calendar and try to map your 5 days out by which park on which day and decide on which evening shows you want to see. Then I would see what is available for restaurants and FPs and book those as well. I agree with the previous post that this would be a great opportunity to try some restaurants you haven't before. There should still be plenty of availability, just perhaps not in the most popular places.

Given that it's summer, I recommend RideMax to avoid long lines in the heat ($20, but well worth it IMHO since it saves you at least 2 hours a day, for $4/day).. Here's what we do:

1. First, choose "which day/which park", based on the easywdw calendar. I'd check the RideMax calendar as well.

2. Select all the rides you want to do in each park (regardless of Fastpasses). Wikipedia and other sites have the rides for each park. YouTube is helpful for a preview if you're not familiar with certain rides. Also note that some rides have height restrictions, which are strictly enforced.

3. Of the rides you want, "assign" your 3 FPs (for each park) based on mesaboy's list.

4. In RideMax, select FP attractions (but not times) (Note that RideMax has tiering built in.) Also add in your dining reservations, and it will plan around those.

5. Then in RideMax, select the rides for each park. RideMax will generate the touring plans, including FP+ times. Ridemax will also tell you if you can't fit all your rides into your allotted times.

6. Then get on MDE to select the FPs, based on the FP times in the RideMax schedule. (after you pick your 3 FPs for each park, you can usually modify the times)

THanks everyone for the advice! We're gonna go with the flow! We've gotten some pretty decent fp's for each day and be glad to do what we can!

Josh at EasyWDW has been saying that the crowds have been low in June. :thumbsup2 Have a great last minute trip!
