Greetings, All!
A few of my multitude of DIS friends have been inquiring about the girls and me, so I thought I'd give a quick update.
2003 can't leave soon enough. We've had 7 deaths in the family this year, as well as some other misfortunes. Having said that, we're all still standing strong. We had a nice trip to Marco Island and WDW, and it was stressful coming back to an empty home. Still adjusting to requesting a table for 5.
The girls are continuing in their activities. My 1st and third are in karate (as am I), the second and third in dance, and the second and me ride horses. The youngest just turned 3 12/28. That day was a tough one. The whole holiday season was weepy.
We are still seeing our grief counselor and our church supports us in many ways. My parents are more than wonderful. Our family business will have to be sold, unfortunately, but I can't do the sales. The man who intends on taking over has agreed to hire me. So, it looks like I'll be going back to work for the first time in 13+ years. It will be part time and I hope to be able to continue homeschooling for now. At least until the fall. We'll re-assess then.
I want to thank you all for your support, kind words and cheers of encouragement.
Happy New Year, Everyone!!
Vicki
