Before I start I need to do some introductions.
This is group one in one room:
Me.....yeah you know me.
Eddie-My husband.
Chris-my one year old son
Carrie-my best friend
Debbie-my mother-in-law
Here is group two in the adjoining room:
Becky-my sister-in-law
Jason-my brother-in-law (becky's husband)
Jon- my 6 year old nephew
Selena- my 5 year old neice
Lynnie-My one year old neice
Day 1 Tuesday Sept 12 2006.
We spent the night at a friends house the night before so it was easy for us to get to the airport, our plane was to take off at 7am. We arrived in Orlando at 10:20am and was boarded on the Magical Express by 10:40am. We arrived at All star Music Resort at 11:20am and meet up with my mother-in-law who has my neice and nephew with her. My sister-in-law was suppose to be there by 11:30am so we could go to MGM that day but she didn't show up until 3:30pm. We sat around the hotel lobby with a one year old, a 6 year old and a 5 year old. Can you imagine? We are in Disney and sitting around the hotel. Well when they FINALY get there they decide they want to unload everything into their room IMMEDIATELY! So we make the 1/4 mile treck with all the luggage to our rooms which are adjoining..and may I say my brother-in-law was NOT happy about that, only to find a parking lot right in front of our room. So finally at about 4:30pm my sister-in-law is ready to go, but Jason decideds that he has been driving too long and doesn't want to go. So we all head out without him. We get to MGM studios and run into a circle of Charactors but Becky doesn't want to stop she wants to try to catch the Power Rangers for Jon...missed them by 15 min. So we went and saw Lights, action, motor cars. That was an awesome show and Carrie and I wanted to take the drivers home with us....LOL. After that we went to go eat at the Buzz Lightyears Pizza place. It was pizza, nothing exciting except that Selena tried to steal a pin. But that crisis was averted when Becky paid for the pin. From there we went to the Great Movie Ride and Selena got REALLY scared......she spent the whole ride tucked into my mother-in-law- crying. I really don't see the scariness....but oh well...need to see it from the eyes of a 5 year old I guess. After that the party split off, Carrie and I went to go get seats for Fantasmic while the rest of them went to go get on Tower of Terror. We all met up to watch Fantasmic. It seems to me that Fantasmic has shortened a bit. The boats with the princesses no longer bring ALL the princesses, only a few. And at the end when they have the boat with all the charactors has stopped, all the charactors come out and dance on the rocks. During the show my husband told that someone swiped his cell phone in the bathroom........I thought "man, what next!" After the show, my mother-in-law-pulls out his phone and asks him what he was missing. Another crisis averted. Sorry no pictures from today, didn't take any. End day 1....next day 2. Magic Kingdom for my birthday!
