OK..trip is planned, ADRS and other reservations made and now I'm in the second guessing, will this really work? mode.
This year I'm planning some special events for DH and DS. We've been to WDW the past 4 years in row as family - this Aug. will be or 5th..DS is 5. He doesn't want to go on any "inside" rides this year and he has a specific list of what he wants to do. I am fine by this as DH & I have been many times so have no "must dos" and I know we will be coming back again...(my sister is also going with us and she has also been many times)
So first and "big" MK day is a Monday (Aug 20). DS wants to do following in MK:
Try BTM for first time
Tea Cups
Dumbo
Aladdin
Goofini
Speedway
Swiss Family Tree House (not mandatory)
Carousel (not mandatory)
Afternoon Parade and Castle Show
Our plans for this day are:
Breakfast 1900 Park Fare
10am fishing trip from GF (2 hr trip).
Go to MK after fishing.... (we usually are at parks at opening so this is where I'm a bit leary arriving what seems so late in day)
rides, parade, snack / CS for afternoon meal...
6:40pm reservations Liberty Tree
9pm Electric Light Parade.
(10pm Wishes not mandatory as I have Wishes Dessert party booked for DS and my sister Wed night when DH and I are at V&A).
In addition to this time in MK DS will have an evening at MK (dinner at Crystal Palace with my sister then 9pm Wishes Dessert Party) and we always go to MK the morning we leave. Breakfast at Chef Mickeys (DS favorite) then a couple of hours or so in MK before we head back to resort for Magical Express.
So....you think with this MK schedule DS will be able to see / do his list?
The fishing trip is a surprise for DS and DH - birthday celebrations. We did it a couple of years back and they both enjoyed it very much and DS is getting even more into fishing this year. I can change fishing to Wed. - This day I have planned as a resort day (OKW) with V&A that evening (Wshes dessert for DS). I really want to keep the entire day "open" for us to do whatever we want...swimming, DTD, or maybe even a park...so I would prefer not to have any other plans except for dinner (another surprise) so we have time during day to do whatever we want.
So..any reassurance that this can work?
