Are all of our DIS friends alright after the storm yesterday?

I keep seeing it on my FB feed(a lot of friends around the area) and onthe news as well.

I cant believe there are tornado warnings. Isnt that unusual for central florida? I dont remember hearing about them often. Theyre getting it pretty bad, with 70mph wings. wow. I heard that a tree/big branch fell over at the queue of Tower of Terror.

Tornadoes happen in FL more than people think. They just aren't usually the big, F5 twister types.

Yikes! I didnt know that. I cannot imagine. Tornados scare the bleep outta me! Imagine a tornado ripped thru disney world? It would be tragic where ever the tornado hits, but imagine how many ppl across the globe are in disney right now? The whole world would be affected by it. Scary!!

We were in Florida from Feb 13-27. Stayed at Sorrento, fl in the camper, they had tornado watches and warning just to the west of us when we were there.

Not unusual at all. I am in northern Florida and we had them on Saturday. Orlando gets some very wicked weather.

Several years ago several people got killed by a tornado, I think most of them were in mobil homes. They usually aren't bad but they do hit.

I posted this on another thread yesterday, but I was caught in the EPCOT parking lot, out in the open, when the storm hit. I ended up crawling under an SUV because I was afraid I was going to get blown off my feet, literally.

People were screaming and crying. It was scary.

I didn't know there were tornado warnings out. If so, I would NOT have tried to run to my car!
