Crazy 8 Stores

I am a huge fan of Gymboree and Janie and Jacks (clearance only of course!) but I have never gotten anything from crazy 8. I see that we are getting a store in the detroit area and I went and checked out their website. It looks like they have some really cute stuff and really good prices, but I was wondering how does it compare in quality to gymboree?? I am expecting a little boy in October and was thinking about ordering some of the one piece rompers they have. TIA!!!!

The quality is not the same- think Old Navy to Gap.
I have found that for basics and often washed items- go with Gymboree. But for fun items or things to supplement a basic wardrobe- the Crazy 8 stuff is great. It definitely is cheaper!
For baby items- I say any way to save money is good. They wear each size for only a few months- so nothing gets a chance to wear out! Crazy 8 would be just fine!

I've bought a few things from Crazy 8 and have been happy with them. I'd say the quality is slightly less than Gymboree, but still decent. However, their sizing is crazy and makes no sense. Both Janie & Jack and Gymboree tend to run a bit big and Crazy 8 tends to run a bit small. I would probably buy more from them if we had a store near us where the kids could try stuff on.

At Laurel Park Place in Livonia. I am not sure when it will be open, I just noticed it on the mall website, but when I went to the Crazy 8 website it didn't show anything.
