Crashing Problems

Every single time I try to login to VMK, it crashes. I haven't even been able to make my character yet. I was suspecting that perhaps the reason it crashes for me every time is because I'm using dial-up. I had been thinking at first that it was because I try to login in mid-day and the server is overloaded, however, I have been anxious to play so I have actually been setting my alarm to wake around 6:30 and be online for the opening time. Yet, even when I do this it crashes. What am I to do? Has anyone else had these problems?
