crane at MK

Anyone there now or who has been recently is the crane still up at MK? Are there ways (angels) to take family photos in front of the castle minus the crane?

Our family as an ADR for 8:15 at CRT on a day MK doesn't open until 9. Was hoping we could get a good family shot (minus crowds) without the crane but am unsure.

Crane is up until late March I believe.

We were at MK a few times last week and I think the crane was only up one of those days (it was tucked behind the castle all other times). However, I think we were lucky (sorta) because the weather wasn't great (cool and rainy) and that's why the crane was down. I think I'd take the crane over the rain

Take the photo with the crane. Message me when you get back and I'll Photoshop it out for you. A crane sticking out from behind the castle and into a blue sky is very easy to clone out. Adding clouds makes it take a bit longer, but still isn't difficult - at least for an art geek like me .

There at the end of jan and they said that it gets lowered at 5 or 6 each day so you can get some after that as well.

We just came home and the crane was only up on nice weather days so if you get a even a bit of drizzle or fog it probably won't be up.

It'll be up a little longer as it takes awhile to get all the Christmas lights off (took a Keys To The Kingdom Tour and was given that reason as to why it's there). DH & I have a castle side shot using one of the Disney MM photogs, and yep, there's the crane. I don't know how to Photoshop,so I guess we'll be taking the crane home with us next Monday........

That's one reason why it's there, but this year they are doing some additional work on the castle,
so it is staying up much longer than usual.
