Hey everyone! I tried to find the thread about a week ago to post on it and I couldn't find it anywhere. I was sad.

Jrsy, we aren't going to the Great American Beer Festival. When you first mentioned it tickets weren't on sale yet and then I forgot about it for a little bit. I went online about 3 weeks ago and they were all sold out. Maybe next year.

Sandy, I am loving your trip report. We got poured on in Seward too when we went. My brother was stationed in Anchorage several years ago and we went up for a visit. We drove down to Seward for a couple of nights and Brad, Rachel and I went on a whale watching tour. It sounds like you saw a lot more than we did. I saw a tail when we were there. But we did see a lot of puffin, sea otters and jelly fish.

It has been insanely crazy here. Between me working 40+ hours every week, school starting and Rachel's volleyball practices I don't seem to have much free time at all. She doesn't have any volleyball this weekend (well, sat and sun). Yippee! I am going to the Rockies game with a friend Sat night. It should be a fun girl's night out!

Sandy and Heidi, have fun in DC. I love it there. There is so much to see. We have been there twice and still haven't seen half of it. Make sure you see the monuments. They are pretty amazing. I heard they have a nighttime monument tour that is supposed to be great.

Wasn't me...apparently the cupcake truck showed up on campus and was giving out free cupcakes. You know how that works...the first one is free, then you're addicted. It has actually been a long time since I've visited the cupcake truck.

So even though the flight we're booked on flying out to Anaheim in November has gone up by $97 since we booked, the fare for the flight home hadn't changed...until yesterday. I rebooked the same flight for nothing because it is SW and saved $18pp, so we are now below $200 r/t.

And now our flight to Anaheim is listed as "unavailable" which I take to mean it is full, so I won't expect that price to drop any more.

Back from DC, we had a great time. When I have more time, I will post pictures and do a little TR as we had many laughs!

Cristi - We took a double decker bus for the night tour and saw the Monuments, it was a great experience.

We're staying at HoJos on Harbor Blvd. Got the Entertainment Book rate for the entire stay. Frontier came out with a new sale today and it would be cheaper to fly them but not by enough to make us change our plans. Had to give it a lot of thought, though.

Are you guys tired of my airfare updates yet? I'm glad we didn't change our plans and book with Frontier because SW dropped the fare on our flight home again so now it is within about $5 of Frontier's fare. So far, since booking, our fare has dropped by $43pp. We are now not only below $200 r/t but we are also paying less than we did last year.

I'm surprised the prices are still dropping, too, but I wonder if it isn't in response to Frontier's sale. I can't even tell you how surprised and pleased I was as well as glad that I'd kept checking the fare even if it seemed futile.

Hey guys!

Sandy and Heidi, I had a dream about the two of you last night (sorry Jrsy, you weren't there ). I was at a salon or something and getting a chair massage, when I sat up Sandy was there, but with really short hair. After a little bit Heidi came in and we just sat there talking. They eventually turned out the lights and we kept talking for awhile until we realized that they were closed.


Then I also had a dream last night that I was trying to fight off the dementors. Brad said I was breathing heavy like I was scared or something.

My interpretation is I need to realax (massage) and hang out with my friends and I really need to stop working so much before I get the life sucked right out of me.

Cristi, I like your interpretation of your dream. You probably need a nice relaxing vacation. When is your next one? I have been wanting to cut off all of my hair so maybe that was a sign for me. How did I look?

Are you guys going to do Summerset this weekend at Clement? Maybe we (Jrsy and Tammy too) could all meet for a picnic dinner and watch the fireworks on Friday night together.

Heidi, that sounds fun. I will be off of work in time, but I don't know how Jake will be feeling. He has a dentist appointment after school on Friday to get the thing under his tongue lasered. I am thinking Friday evening he might need to lay low. We are going to be there Sunday afternoon for sure because Jake's Tae Kwon Do class is doing a demonstration.
