I hope Jake isn't freezing up there. I don't know how much snow they got. I sent his winter coat and gloves, but no snow boots.

Cristi - I am sure he is doing great. If there was snow, they probably did a lot if indoor activities. When I was a leader I had to do lesson plans for outside (I taught the wildlife, eco hike, and rescue classes) and had to also have a backup lesson plan for indoor activities just in case the weather turned on us.

The teachers have been putting updates on the schoolnotes page each night. That has been kind of fun to look at. They said yesterday was another gloomy day with snow starting to accumulate in the evening. She said they had a couple of inches by bedtime, so that isn't too bad. She also mentioned that they had hats and gloves that kids could check out if they needed them too. She also mentioned how cool it was to see kids hanging out with and socializing with different kids than they usually hang out with.

Crisit, technology is so great. We didn't get that type of communication. I would have loved it!

Yeah, it is pretty cool, next best thing since I can't talk to him. I don't know if they did that for Rachel's class or not. I was gone that week until the Wed night anyway so I only really had Thursday at home without her.

We bought some new patio chairs this weekend and put new padding around the edge of the trampoline, so you know what I'm thinking? When should we BBQ again?

We need to try your new stuff out! I will volunteer to try out the new padding on the trampoline. As I say that tho, the next few weekends are going to be crazy for us! We leave for FL in 2 weeks, then gone for a week, then the weekend after that is the 5k Walk for Epilepsy. After June 13th, I think our schedule calms down a lot!

Tonight should be fun, although Tammy said the movie might require a few tissues so that makes me a little nervous! I am such a cry baby with movies!!!!!

Hi, everyone. Glad to hear you guys are doing well. Everyone's growing up Technology is amazing, keeps you in touch, that's for sure!

We are planning our trip back in August and I have to control myself, I really want to wear my dress again lol.

The movie and Chili's was fun last night. I had Tammy sniffling on one side and Sandy sniffling on the other. . It was just what I needed after a really bad day at work.

I think it would definitely have to be after vacation; we're pretty busy right up until we leave. Hopefully Rachel will be interested in coming this time and we can get all the kids there.

Forgot to mention that I saw Brad on the train again last week. Wasn't until I was getting off at my stop that I did, though. Just enough time to say hello.

I was trying to figure out when the first time we all met up in person. I remember Armadillos and Texas Roadhouse, but wasn't sure when we met for the first time.

It was at The Armadillo, and we decided at the last minute not to bring the kids along and, other than Sandy, the spouses, either. Tammy truly thought I was nuts to go meet a bunch of people I knew only from a message board. Now she's ditching me to go out with you herself. That's got to tell you something about the quality of the friends I choose!
