I called in sick today. I haven't done that in a year, but i've been battling a cold and needed a day to take nyquil and sleep. Now I have Gary's kids spending the night at my house, still crazy to me to all of a sudden have 3 boys in addition to Aerial.

Selena, I hope you are feeling better. Thanks, i'm still taking it a day at a time and not worrying about it. I still don't have my tree up but i am seriously thinking about taking it to the tatt shop and decorating there this weekend. Our 6 month old cat would have a field day with a tree and we aren't home much these days anyway.

Selena - I hope you can find your birth parents and find out the information you need to know. How are you feeling about doing all of this? I hope you feel better. Our Christmas tree is up but isn't completed yet...hoping to do that this weekend!

Marcie - Feel better! Wow taking on a slumber party while sick...not fun!

Jake is going to school today! No fever! He still is coughing, but that will be around for awhile I'll bet.

Brad's parent's 50th anniversary party is tomorrow night and I have stuff to do today to get ready for it. I have to go pick up a dress form for his mom's wedding dress to display it at the party and I have to figure out fresh flower center pieces for all of the tables. Wish me luck!

He's not 100%, but is better than he was. I told him if he started feeling bad he could have the nurse call me and I could pick him up. I just have a ton of things to do this morning (and maybe afternoon too) so I am hoping he will be ok.

Cristi, glad Jacob is doing better. Did he stay at school? A 50th anniversary party is a big undertaking. I love the idea of a dress form. Where in the world would you find one? Did you rent one?

How was everyone's weekend? I took Deuce, Gary's 6 year old shopping to get his Dad something and he helped me decorate the Christmas tree and wrap presents. This is going to be a fun Christmas with a little one around.

I am going to the dealership today to see about ordering my new car. I am pretty nervous about it, but at the same time I know I can afford it. So, I guess I'll get over it.

Jrsy, thanks so much for a great night. We really enjoyed ourselves. I loved meeting Tammy's parents. They are so sweet! Good thing we didn't take more cookies. The ones we did take are gone. Good news is that I didn't gain.......thankfully. LOL Plus, I am thinking of Tammy today. I am sure everything will go great.

Cristi, you have to check in and tell us all about the 50th anniversary party. How did it go? How did Jacob do with such a busy weekend?

Hey guys. I have not meant to worry anyone. I really am not emotionally OK. I do not have a lot of energy to do a lot.

I will try to email everyone soon and explain. Pray for MacKenzie. Pray that she will have the ability to be strong and realize what is healthy and what is not. Pray that she will have the strength to move on and NEVER look back.

Jrsy, thanks for the fun time on Friday. How is Tammy doing? I have been thinking about her.

Jacob is doing okay, just complaining about all of his make up work. He stayed home sat morning while we went to decorate the hall for the party. The party went well. Not too many issues. I think his parents had a good time.

Rachel stayed home today. She woke up with a rash (hives) from head to toe. We guess it was an allergy to something, but we can't figure out what. It went away with some antihistamine. and I think the itching has stopped.

Selena, I hope everything it ok. We are all here for you.
