Cranberry & Pineapple Continued.....Again.

You can get Black Friday deals online too. Tiger Direct usually has some good ones.

Our screen broke a couple of years ago on vacation. Brad was able to fix it himself for about $50. He ordered a new LCD screen from Kodak and put it in. Still works great.
I think replacing the screen is probably out of my range of abilities. Also, considering that I paid $85 for the camera almost 3 years ago, I don't think investing another $50 in it would necessarily be a worthwhile investment.

Here are the photos from our trip, though.

Jrsy - loved the pictures! Chris and I went around Halloween once and I remember all those pumpkins. Too funny with the candy corn pictures. I liked Alex's birthday hat and birthday message. ;) I wonder what changes they are making to the Bay? I didn't realize their were rumors about taking the California sign down. I would have taken more pictures, the only one I have is of me acting goofy after a few drinks at the House of Blues!

I really, really enjoyed your photo slide. I kept thinking, I have to remember that one to say something about but then it became several and now I can't remember all of them. I really liked you and Tammy one the carousel. I really liked Tammy and Alex at Paradise Pier. I didn't realize that candy corn grew on palm trees, lol. HoJo's looks perfect. Is it within walking distance? We stayed at one near the Port and it was awful!

They're putting in something called World of Color in the "bay" itself and, I think, seating around the side where you can see that it is all dug up.

According to the Hojo's website, the time to walk from the property to the esplanade where the turnstiles are is 8 minutes. We never timed it and cut through the bus & taxi area, which probably took off a minute or two. We liked it because we could walk on the opposite side of Harbor from all of the other hotels until we got to the crosswalk right near Mimi's. It wasn't as close as the Ramada Maingate where we stayed last time but it was much nicer and well worth walking a few more minutes.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I believe Heidi stayed there last time. When we took the girls out one time we stayed at the Carousel Inn. Not as nice as HoJo's that's for sure but money was a HUGE issue back then.

Yeah, that wouldn't be worth it for you. It worked out well for us though considering we had only had the camera for a few months and had sprung for a more expensive one.

Your pictures are great!

Mom - You are right, we stayed at HoJo's on our Honeymoon. We really liked it and that is where we got our addiction to MiMi's Cafe for breakfast!

I am so stressed out at work right now I am so miserable. First we are 8 people understaffed, then they change my hours, now they are changing them again, then we are covering for these 8 positions and doing it all and getting yelled at for not doing things timely, today we are getting yelled at for making mistakes because we are doing things so quickly and we need to slow down, then this morning I hear when are you getting this done because they need this right away, and then hear things are changing again and my coworkers in my office and I are not allowed to go to lunch together. I am at my wits end. Everyone is so miserable and stressed out, but what are they doing to thank us...taking more things away. This lunch thing really has me mad, there are a total of 4 specialists right now and every lunch we rotate to stay back and watch the phones and then 1 never goes to lunch with us....so that leaves 2 Specialists eating lunch together and apparently with the new lunch change I guess they want us to eat alone because we can no longer go to lunch at the same time. With only 4 people, I think 2 people can handle 30 minutes without the other 2. I am SOOOOOO done. Oh ya, this has all been done within the month of October.

Sheez, all you Mimi Cafe people. How can you avoid not gaining tons of weight. Their portions are big and everything is yummy!

Sorry things are so rough at work Heidi . Maybe we do need that girls trip. :) I hope things get better soon, get some more staff in there. I know how hard it is when you are understaffed.

Ok, I am going to have to try Mimi's for breakfast. I keep hearing great things about it.

Thanks Cristi. You HAVE to try MiMi's for breakfast. They have the best potatoes, muffins and fresh squeezed orange juice. Chris loves the hash there too.

It's snowing, already about 3 inches on the ground and suppose to continue until Friday. Why do I have to come to work? Hoping for a snow day tomorrow! Jrsy keep warm, Cristi Drive careful, Mom - NO SHOVELING, do not hurt your back even more.

You walk all day and don't have another big meal until 10-12 hours later.

I loved their potatoes. I could have eaten just them with a couple of eggs.

I see a DISmeet at Mimi's coming soon.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Heidi, I am going to try the snowblower. The shovel part scares me though. Then I think that I jumped on the tramp and I am fine.:confused3

Selena, have fun!

Jrsy, Cristi, be careful.

I am in total shock. The county just plowed our street. WOW!!!! Great for driving but you should see all the drifts in front of the driveways needing attention. Guess I will head out there so Ted can get in. Any of you having power issues? We have had it go out twice so far. I have put up the temp in the house in case it goes off again.

The office is actually closed today, so I am home and getting ready to shovel again.

My office is closed too! Just got done helping my mom shovel and having breakfast at Del Taco. I love that place! My mom measured and it was 2 feet of snow already!

Someone actually plowed our street too. I am in shock! I guess I should go out and take a look at the driveway. I don't want too.....

Last year we had the guy that lived next door and his ATV, but he moved out a couple of weeks ago. Too bad his wife wasn't the one to leave :rolleyes1

I think a meet at Mimi's would be great!
