Cranberry & Pineapple Continued.....Again.

 Don't feed into her, she thinks she is so clever.....but she is not! :thumbsup2:goodvibes:rotfl: I hate going to haunted corn mazes. I suck at them and then to have chain saw guys chasing after us is just horrible! Chris and I went to one and everytime I started to smell the gas I panicked!

Welcome back Jrsy and family! Can't wait to hear about your trip.

Tammy said Jrsy won the first ride of Toy Story Mania! I told her that I am sure she let him win. ;) Chris said his money was on Alex and we were both surprised he didn't win!
Alex is always more about accuracy while Tammy and I just let fly and hope we actually hit something. The more you ride, the more you learn, so our scores were creeping up with each trip through. Alex ended up with somewhere around 122,000 and Tammy held the family record for a while with around 169,800 until our last time when I got 208,900.

Welcome home, Jrsy. Can't wait to hear about the trip!

Welcome back Jrsy and family! Can't wait to hear about your trip.
This weather is definitely a shock to the system after the warm, sunny days there. I'll need time to get all of my thoughts together before I can post anything resembling a trip report and I probably won't have the photos sorted out before the weekend, but I can tell you a few things:
- the crowd levels were much better than I was expecting.
- we were not very impressed by Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.
- the decorations were great, both at DL and CA.
- Hojo's was awesome! We were close to the highway, but it didn't really bother us.
- you're going to love the photos of Alex in his birthday ears.
- Roz sang Happy Birthday to Alex on the Monsters Inc. ride and he loved it.
- on our last trip through Pirates, the three of us had an entire boat to ourselves.
- we were amazed that people would sit in front of the castle for two hours to wait for 10 minutes worth of fireworks.
- Its a Small World now has Disney characters among the other figures.

Can't think of anything else, but don't hesitate to ask if you have questions about something specific.

I can't wait to see your pictures Jrsy. I love Disney's Halloween decorations. I heard about Disney Characters in It's a Small World. With that I might be willing to give it another try!

Hey Heidi, before I forget or can't ask you because Dad is around, would you mind picking up your dad one of those blankets if you go? I would certainly pay you back. Probably one of the animal ones like the wolf. I know they have deer or moose or elk ones but you know me, :confused3I don't know my animals. Buy what you think he would like. Not a military one or Indian style, though. I know they have an Eagle one but I think it was more military. He loves Eagles. Sorry to put the choice in your hands! Don't make a special trip if you decided not to go.

Jrsy - How fun, I really enjoyed the Monsters Inc ride at DCA.

Mom - I will do that. Keep your phone on you just in case I need to text you a pic of a blanket! Chris and I will also be looking for a Dunkin Donuts while we are down there. We are determined to get some munchkins!

What kind of blanker? I have a blankie I love. On a trip to Cheyenne I bought the kids and Jeff one. It is all fuzzy and soft.

Oh my goodness Selena. I bet it is the same type of blanket. We know them as acrylic blankets but I know it isn't known as that anymore. We are all hooked on them. It's crazy seeing all of us adults lugging our blankies around the house. LOL We even have Mickey Mouse ones in the trailer.

Two more things about our trip:

1) On TSMM, one possible reason for my high score is that I broke a gold plate during that section but I didn't see what the point value was. It was the only time I'd seen a gold plate out of all the times we played.

2) Realized on Monday afternoon that there was an issue with the viewscreen on the back of the camera. Seems like it must have cracked on the inside, so it made taking photos a bit more difficult and using the menu impossible. Pictures seem to have turned out fine, but the camera will have to be replaced.

Jrsy - we never saw a gold plate either. Interesting! Sorry about your camera. At least the pictures came out okay. Maybe on Black Friday there will be a good deal for a new camera.

Selena - I bet it is the same blanket we have!!

Mom - I think they are known as fleece blankets now. But after our trip, looking online I searched under acrylic fleece and some popped up like the NFL ones.

Wouldn't help me since I try not to even leave the house on Black Friday...plus I'll be recovering from cheering the Giants on to victory over the Broncos.

I thought it might be the same blanket. In my area they are very hard to find. I have mine from when I was a teen and I have given it to my puppies. They love it too. Then my dad got me another one and then we bought the 3 for Jeff, Mac and E.

I did order a huge one from some magazine a few years back. It is a king sized blanket. We love our blankies.

We leave in 3 days for our cruise, Wednesday right after work we are heading half or or more.

You can get Black Friday deals online too. Tiger Direct usually has some good ones.

Our screen broke a couple of years ago on vacation. Brad was able to fix it himself for about $50. He ordered a new LCD screen from Kodak and put it in. Still works great.

WOW, Selena. Your vacation is coming up fast. You SOOOOOO deserve it! Don't think of anything at home. Just about FUN! You use to be able to find those blankets at every store from Walmart to the finer dept stores. Not any longer.

I am really looking forward to this short vacation. Things have been so tough lately and while I do not think I have been depressed, I know I have been down. At times I just have not wanted to do anything more than come home.

While nothing has changed at work, me and the other 2 secretaries that have not really gotten along, have a new respect for one another. We now realize where a lot of crap was coming from. Do not get me wrong, I will never been friends with these ladies but at least we are banding together to help reduce the stress. It helps knowing that you are not alone in how you are being treated.

I'm glad to hear that you and the other 2 women have called a truce and realized who the instigator is/was. You don't need to be best friends but can at least get along while at work. Maybe the stress might be lifted. I sure hope so!

This was a hard pill to swallow, as seen on 60 Minutes:

More Americans are suffering from epilepsy than Parkinson's, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis combined. Katie Couric previews her report on a disease that may not be getting the attention it deserves.

It also said that there are more deaths from epilepsy than breast cancer.

WHY OH WHY do they not do more research? Why is it never mentioned like the others? WHY?

I love going out on BF!!!!! I take that day off specifically so I can wake up early early and fight the crowds for the good deals. I live for that day!

And you only wish the Giants will beat my Broncos, it's always good to dream.
