Cranberry & Pineapple Continued.....Again.

Jrsy - I saw you countdown to the Beer Festival, I know you have to pay for tickets, but do you also have to pay for the beer when you get inside? I would like to surprise Chris with this if tickets haven't sold out.

Cristi - OMG, highschool next year....yikes!

ETA - NEVER MIND JRSY, I read that it is unlimited 1 oz. When are you going? I think I will get me the Designated driver ticket since there is no way I could drink $55 worth of beer, I don't really like beer!

Check out the bottom of this page to see when tickets are still available and the costs:

You can also find a link to where you can buy tickets. I always go on Thursday night, though I don't know if it is any less crowded now than it used to be since all three nights have sold out in the past two years. I'd still consider buying yourself a ticket because there will may be some things you might want to sample. Of course you can have Chris get samples for you in his tasting cup, I guess. I'm sure I don't drink $55 worth of beer, but for me it is just the opportunity to sample beers I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to try.

That sounds like fun. We have never been. I know that Brad would love it. Maybe we will look into going too

TGIF!!!!!! Yay, we made it to Friday! Tonight I am taking my friend out for her birthday and Chris is picking up the girls. Not sure what we will be doing this weekend. Once the girls figure out that their friends are down at the campground, I am sure they will want to go down there.

Emily is doing Volleyball at school now, her first practice is tonight. She is also in student leadership and she said she is scared because they have to put on an assembly. To get on student leadership, you have to be nominated by a teacher. Amanda is taking dance. I am glad she got in because that is a very popular elective at their school and she loves to dance. Emily and Amanda have all their core classes together and their lockers are right next to each other, Emily does not like that! I am surprised since the schools did everything in their power not to put Stacey and I in the same classes. At least Homework will be easier as they can help each other!

What school are the girls at Heidi? Sounds like they have some good electives. We found out yesterday that Rachel's school is switching to semester from trimesters. So she will have a new schedule probably when she goes in for her first day of school. She isn't happy about doing semesters. She said that if she gets a bad elective she is stuck with if for a lot longer. :)

Since it isn't that far away, you should just meet me over in Heidi's bushes; I'm over there on most nights.
:lmao::rotfl: OMG, you so got me on that one! My coworkers think I am crazy since I just busted out laughing!

Cristi - they go to Knowledge Quest Academy. It is a charter school in Milliken.

Cristi/Jrsy - I asked Chris if he wanted to go to the Beer Festival and of course he does. We were thinking about doing it on Saturday so if you are going then and want to meet up just give me a call.

I've already got my tickets for Thursday, but thanks. I'd recommend getting your tickets ASAP, though, because the closer it gets, the fewer tickets will be left. The site I posted yesterday shows where you can pick them up if you don't want to do mail order.

Well Jrsy, tables have turned. It is my turn to stalk you now. We are also going Thursday. Every night is sold out unless you want to go to the different locations and try. No thanks, I will have them mailed to me. Plus Chris doesn't have school on Friday's so he will be fine!

I wonder why the website is showing Saturday only 60% sold. Does that mean there are 40% of the tickets out there at the remote selling locations but none available for online purchase?

The message I got for Friday is "Tickets for the Friday Night Session are currently sold out through the Brewers Association. They are still available at Ticketmaster.com and at GABF Ticket Outlets." I tried ticketmaster and it told me they couldn't find anything with my requirements. Then I tried Saturday and it said "Capacity Full". So, we are going on Thursday! :lmao:

Well Tif and I have been going for something like ten years and we are actually changing our game plan for the first time this year, so if you are interested in our insight, make sure you let me know.

Okay, I talked to Brad and he wants to go too. I think we will go on Thursday also. Maybe we could all meet up? Heidi, did you end up getting yourself a full ticket or the designated driver ticket?
