Selena - that is funny it is the same itinerary and ship, at least you won't be working! Sounds like a nice little vacation you have planned. Now if Mac leaves you for someone her age, you can give her all kind of grief!

We like Carnival better than RCCL but you just could not beat the pricing with the NC rate. We were only going on the September cruise to use our Money from points from the Credit cards. Now I am splitting that money between 2 cruise. September hopefully I will be back at work and not have to worry about paying for the cruise.

Speaking of jobs. I have no clue if I will have a job next year. None what so ever. The State is taking a furlough day from us this month. It is actually 10 hours which is a bit more than 1 day. We are given a Comp Time day for this and it has to be taken the last day we work for this year which is June 18. The House is now trying to cut our pay by 1 day a month next school year. Of course we are not getting any raise. I realize this is much better than not having a job but I just feel this should be more across the board. Since it is a State thing this is not just for schools but no elected offical will have their salary cut. These cuts are from the state not our county. Which means our county may cut us as well. They are taking about cutting us one day next year. That means we will have 11 days pay taken from us next school year. What people do not realzie is school employees are state employees so any cut from the state affects us as well but the county in which you work also makes cuts to balance their budget. We are being hit from 2 sides. This is still better than not having a job.

I am pretty sure if I do have a job next year and with the cuts I could apply for welfare if Jeff left me. I mean I make nothing and then with 2 kids I bet I could get some type of assitances. Isn't that pitiful.

Selena, I sure understand your way of thinking on that. But come on, an elected official getting cut....get real. That will NEVER happen and they laugh all the way to the bank! It needs to be more fair on how they get their raises. Why should they be allowed to decide for themselves? No one else can. I found it interesting that you like Carnival over RCCL. I don't think I knew that.

I got my bloodwork back from our 9News Health fair. I have high levels of SGOT and another one and it states that it could be cirosis or hepatitis. It really keeps going back to alcohol. Cmon.....I don't drink but maybe a drink or two every month. I am wondering if a hypothyroid could cause it. My dad got pancreatitis and they kept accusing him of drinking excessively and he DIDN'T. He got so mad over that. And now I am wondering about myself. Well, I am not calling the doctor before our trip. I will wait until we get back and get the all inclusive alcohol out of my system. LOL Man, isn't THAT ironic.

You know it is really hard to compare a cruiseline or ship. What I like is, Carnival gives you robes to use and they have an amenities basket in the bathroom. I also think they their food is just a tiny notch above RCCL.

We have been on 4 cruises on both cruiselines. I have 5 & 6 booked for RCCL (RCI) and number 5 for Carnival.

I am not saying RCI is not a good line. Just for us, they seem to meet our needs a little bit more than RCI. Oh and the biggie is the fact on a normal basis Carnival is cheaper. When you add the pricing, the robe usage and the amenities basket to the deal it just outweighs RCI. Food is way to suggestive to really take anyone's word on.

Heidi thank you, Aerial and I both need a lot of prayers right now. This is not something I feel like talking on in a message board, maybe email. This is really serious, but as soon as I was made aware I've taken care of business. Well, it's not over emotionally there is a lot of healing to do, but it won't happen again. Oh and it wasn't something Aerial did, except the cry out for help. It was done to her. Thank all of you for your support.

Wow, yea my Dad had cirosis and ended up with a liver transplant and it was NOT from drinking. It made me mad that, that is the first thing everyone asks. I hope you are okay.

When I got to work this morning, one of my co-workers had put a little box on my desk with a stone in it that says...No problem is too big for God to handle...keep this stone to remind you of the strength of God. I don't know who put it there but it really touched me and I need that stone.

Well I wasn't sure how Aerial felt about Disney right now so I asked her last night and she says she is really looking forward to it. I know Heidi and a number of people have told me that it probably will be really good for her. Soooo, today I bought our park tickets!!!!! In 29 days we will be in Orlando.
