All this talk about Thanksgiving here & on the CB have me craving cranberry relish. Usually I can't eat it because of the sugar, but I just bought a big bag of Splenda in bulk & would love to try it.

The one I'm thinking of has cranberries, oranges, celery, walnuts... but any recipes would be appreciated! I don't care if they are molded or just lumpy in a bowl. (Not very nice sounding, but I can't think of how else to describe it. )

There is one on the OceanSpray.com website that is the one I usually use. Theirs is just oranges, sugar and cranberries. I also added chopped apples, nuts(walnuts or pecans) and marshmallows just before serving. The marshmallows get soggy so I just add to what I am serving and I think the nuts start to taste funny if you have leftovers so I just do those last three things at the end.

Here is the recipe from OceanSpray.com.

Ingredients:

1 12-ounce package Ocean Spray® Fresh or Frozen Cranberries, rinsed and drained
1 unpeeled orange, cut into eighths and seeded
3/4-1 cup sugar

Directions:

Place half the cranberries and half the orange slices in food processor container. Process until mixture is evenly chopped. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with remaining cranberries and orange slices. Stir in sugar. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Makes about 3 cups.

NOTE: May also be prepared in a food grinder.

Donzgyrl

I make one similiar to the one donzgyrl posted, but I use candied pineapples and mango instead of oranges (I pick the candied pineapples and mangoes out of the trail mix packs).

1 bag cranberries
2 apples
2 oranges
1 can (20oz) crushed pinneapple
2 cups sugar

uses food processer or I use my kitchen add attactment for grinding. Then just mix in the pinneapple and sugar. My Father in law eats it on ice cream!!!! And this freezes very well!!!
