Marcie, I was just talked into a pair of spike heels for this next cruise. I have to learn to walk in them, also. I doubt I will become an expert at it.

Jrsy, how did the bachelors do over the weekend. Is Mrs Jrsy home now? Did Cosmo win big?

Cristi, icky, icky food at Casa Bonita but the atmosphere is great!

Heidi, I can't believe how cheap you got by at Jose Osheas. Nice!

Jrsy - I just looked, they changed the name to the "flying coaster", it is the orange one by the stunt show. Did you ride the half pipe?

We did ride the flying coaster but it was probably our least favorite of all the roller coasters. It felt like I was getting punched about the head and I almost lost my sunglasses so I was worried that Alex's glasses would go flying off. I might give it another chance next time, though.

We did ride the half-pipe and it was pretty fun, but the section we were in didn't spin very much. We'll have to try that one again next time, too.

Jrsy, how did the bachelors do over the weekend. Is Mrs Jrsy home now? Did Cosmo win big?

Cosmo didn't do much gambling but he had fun. I am going to post one picture because I am at home with my dial up connection but will put more up tomorrow from work. Mrs. Jrsy got in early this morning and hadn't slept because they had an early flight (long story on why). The bachelors survived none the worse for wear. We had a fun weekend even without Momma.

Wow, Cosmo really got into the Vegas scene. My mom told me that Cosmo will never want to go to Disney again after the vacation he has in Vegas...I think she is right!!!

Cristi - that is horrible what your supervisor said, I wonder what his/her problem is with you? Hopefully he/she was having a bad day. What they described is definitely not the Cristi that we know. Hang in there, maybe that person is jealous of you.

I think she feels threatened by me. I have worked there for 14 years and she has been there for 2 years. She knows that I could have had her job (lab manager) if I had wanted it. They tried to get me to take it, but I didn't want it. I only was doing it temporarily while we were looking for someone. I dont' know, it seems like each year right around my review time something comes up. Last year she told me that a few of my peers had said that I was socialized too much and was a slacker. She said it was coming from the peer review though and she didn't agree with it. Now I am wondering if it mostly came from her? I feel a little better today, some fruity rum drinks helped last night.

Of course I would have said, "I'm not argumentative; you're argumentative!" but I guess that would have just proven her point. Kicking her in the shin probably wouldn't have helped either.

I just found out that I got another upgrade for our cruise. Instead of a category 6 in room 5650, we are now upgraded to a category 5 room 7064. I checked my parents reservation and they have not been upgraded yet, but there is still time.

That is great that you got another upgrade Heidi. There is still plenty of time for Sandy too! We got an upgrade on our first cruise (cat 11 to 9) and didn't find out until we got our docs.

Jrsy, somehow I don't think kicking her would have helped.
I am just going to go in do my job and come home. Of course then I will probably be accused of being unfriendly.

Cristi, how horrible. I feel for you! Hang in there. I hate reviews. Don't they know that you start slacking once they tell you bad things?? I have never understood reviews and how they are to MOTIVATE you.

Poor Cosmo was all tuckered out after a few nights on the town.

I will take pixie dust on the upgrade. I doubt we will get it though. It is hard to understand Disney. We had 3 cabins in a row, all booked at the same time and they yank the one in the middle. Go figure!

Sandy, the funny thing is, it wasn't even my review. I was just in her office talking about something else and she said we needed to talk about what happened Friday. I still don't know what I did on Friday to tick her off so much. My official review is coming up anyday now. I am hoping that the office manager does it instead of her though.

So are you going shopping anywhere today? I feel the need to get out of the house.

That would have been fun Sandy. Maybe some other day we can do that. I didn't end up going out today. My house is so out of control I was trying to figure out how to tackle it. I cleaned up and dusted the living room (the least messy room of the house) and I finally folded this basket of sheets that has been sitting in the family room for probably 2 weeks.... Now, for the rest of it... this could take awhile.

You should see our house. We had 3 deaths in 6 months last year and are still trying to get through all 3 estates. We have his, hers, hers and ours all over. We just need time to figure out where everything is going to go and then we are drowning in a sea of paperwork all over the dining room table, kitchen counter and office. Will it ever end? Then, how do you dust something like that?????

Well, turning off the computer now. Almost time for American Idol. Our local tv station was interviewing Ace yesterday because he is a local and he said that he would like to see Elliot win. I found that interesting!
