The only thing more unbelievable is that you felt compelled to post. What could you possibly have expected to gain by that? Luckily, this is a very polite group so if you are trying to get flamed, you'll have to try again somewhere else.

Gain? Everything that one does in life does not have to be done with hopes of "gain"ing something.
My point is the rules of this board are that personal messages on a board are supposed to be taken to P.M.'s. This thread perhaps started with some cruise aspects but not any longer.
Insofar as getting flamed? Why? It was a genuine question that if you look at it without getting all bent about your own personal interest in this thread you'd realize it is legitimate.
As for the comments about my post count, I didn't realize that unless you had hundreds, or thousands of posts you were less important on here. Interesting Concept.

Meagan maybe your problem is you do not want others to have fun. Yes we have been lucky that the mods have not moved us to the other board. Why they have not is anyones guess. It might be because we talk about cruise related things.... We are not meaning to break rule nor are we the only ones who do the same as we have been doing on this thread. You know if you want to take the time to read every page I doubt there will be one page where we did not have something on topic. As stated by my monkey friends we do discuss many things related to cruising on DCL. The whole entire thread was started with a juice question that was about beverages available on DCL. We have shared receipes that were onboard, we have answered questions relating to DCL, we have discussed upcoming cruises that many of us have planned. Some of the monkeys on here have a cruise planned as far away as next September.

Now with that being done....to my Monkey friends....

I hope Marcie is having a grand time. I think they were going to hang out at Downtown Disney to day and eat there. They go on theri DCL on Wednesday in time for Thanksgiving. I can not wait to hear how her cruise was. I hope they all take to cruising like we all have.

FYI~I have a $5 Build-A-Bear coupon for an animal priced $10 or more. I would be glad to mail this to the first person who might want it for a Christmas present. The coupon does not expire until 12/31/05....

It is a legitimate question that is answered if you take the time to read all of the posts. You did do that before asking such a question, didn't you? Then you must have noticed what a polite and friendly group this is and that we aren't harming anyone. We're just minding our own business...

First... justme2.... welcome aboard... we are a bunch of cruisers that have gone through 70 pages talking about MANY cruise foods, tips, drinks (one of our most popular subjects ), and excursions etc.... Within these 70 pages, there have been hurricanes that have hit us personally in one way or another, deaths, almost divorces, injuries and other personal things that helped us have a very supportive along with fun and successful thread. For every sad thing that has happened, we have had a fellow member close to boarding their dream vacation in which we ALL get excited and we ALL look forward to hearing about and for a short while, we can laugh before getting back to life as it is for each of us... being very hard for some of us since this thread has posted.
Up until now, we have had absolutely NO negative comments and No problems. It is very unfortunate that as you are starting out, you see this very successful thread, being questioned by another newer member that obviously has nothing better to do than start trouble.
If this post is a bother to anyone... we are not keeping you here, please feel free to find a post where you fit in. However, if you would like to stay, we welcome laughs, jokes, support and positive feedback. I think my strategy from now on, as to NOT make this any more negative, will be to totally ignore the parts that do not appeal to me.
Justme2.... are you cruisin? There are a few on this thread that have cruised with DISNEY many times. Let us know when and where you are going and we will be more than glad to give you input and answer questions.

By the way... when I went to PORT CANAVERAL this past weekend... I stopped in to Shirleys store (the one who makes the baskets for the CRUISE SHIP) and I put an anniversary card in Marcies basket since she has had such a hard time and was now able to get away and enjoy life for a little while (on the DISNEY CRUISE SHIP). I am sure she will be SO surprised!!!!
So guys... see you later... Ya, know, if they didn't want us to have fun on these boards... they wouldn't have all these fun icons (right now I wish I could pull up a drinking icon!!! or the Crazy icon!!!). I think I will check in after I go fishing. Karen

I love Starbucks- gingerbread latte is my favorite, but I like pumpkin spice, too. I also like the Vanilla Spice at Dunkin Donuts. In summer, iced caramel macchiatto is the best. Never had the Caramel Apple Cider. Guess it's worth a try!

I wish DCL would put a Starbucks onboard (this is to keep the post related to the subject).

My favorite Starbucks beverage is the Eggnog Latte. My local Starbucks keeps me posted as to the first day they are served so I will be one of the first, The rest of the year it is a plain old latte.

I love coming here and checking in- with three jobs I don't get to do it as much, but when I get online and I see that someone was missing me, it always makes me smile and at this time of Thanksgiving, I am thankful to have this little online *coffee klatsch* (though we usually prefer stronger drinks) I love it.

About Secret Santas- they've already been arranged and we're all in the process of sending out gifts, but you're more than welcome to hang around and chat! I did a search on secret santas and I found 2 more going on right now, but they're both past their deadline, too ( 1 was onthe community board and 1 was on the VMK board)

Anyway, I am off to make myself some coffee (Kona blend to get me excited abot my stay at the Poly, lol) and *try* to go for a walk with my boyfriend (if I can take the cold!) We're trying to get in shape for our DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!!!!

That would be cute- maybe a special coffee blend themed to the Cruise. My college had awful coffee, then one day they brought in Starbucks. I was in Heaven! Brack, you post made me wonder- what kind of coffee do they serve onboard- no nescafe, right? I didn't even think of that! lol

It clearly is something that really bothers you so may I suggest that you unsubscribe and just ignore us? Nobody is making you read this thread and you are the first and only one to complain about it. Because we don't fit YOUR definition of a cruise thread, doesn't mean we aren't one. When you start your own cruise board, you can ban us. Until then we will continue with the cruise related topics the way we have for over 70 pages...
