Today was a day full of errands and shopping. I am so exhausted. My feet hurt and so does my brain with all the thinking I had to do.

So on Sunday morning he gets out there at 8am with his atv and cleared snow. He didn't put it in front of the house. I thought it was a little early to get out there, but I was up anyway so it didn't really bother me.

Jeff firmly believes in waiting until after 9:00 am on Saturday mornings to do any outside work and after noon on Sundays. LOL

Good Morning everyone.

Finally feeling a bit alive now. I do not have the Christmas tree up. We were going to do it last weekend but I was so sick I did not move too much. lol

Jrsy loved the trip report.

Marcie, I am going to research the hurricane I had no clue about. Sorry!! I feel awful that I did not know. I really have been sick and have not watched TV.

It's not a new hurricane. We are doing all of the taxes that were due in September and were extended due to no electricity.

Speaking of, they are working on our apartment, picking up all the brick that fell and there is mud EVERYWHERE. Ugghhh, I am sick of hurricane cleanup.

Did I mention I got a TV for christmas? Well we got a TV stand and the girls voluntered to put it together and they still aren't through. So, last night Aerial's friend Tyler said he would come over today and finish it for them. Gotta love teenagers. He said he would put my TV on it too. I got a 42", I'm excited. But, my house is a mess and I have been super busy. Last night I didn't relax until almost 9, decided to put a mask on my face and Aerial walks in and informs me that she has to make something from scratch to bring to home ec today. So, I had to rinse off my face and bring her to the store. She was sick the day before and slept all evening and night so she didn't tell me sooner. I am a bit stressed these days. I just want my house to be clean and everything put back where it was.

Heidi, how are you doing???

I am feeling miserable today. This week has not been my week. My boss called in sick yesterday with a sore throat and headache and now guess what I have, sore throat, headache, stuffed up head and nose, and feel like I want to just crawl up in bed.

Chris had my car to get the tires rotated on Tuesday, when I was leaving Target yesterday after work I saw this huge white scratch on my car. (I baby my car and it is spotless and no scratches or dings) It looked like paint, so I asked Chris if he happened to hit the garage wall with my car (our garage is really tight and tiny) and he said Yes, but only the mirror hit and he brushed the mirror off and it just had a few scuffs on the mirror. I got home and he was shocked how big the scratch is and said it wasn't him that did it because he only hit this spot on the wall with the mirror. I saw some paint missing from the door in our garage and he said it didn't match up but made me pull it forward to see.....yup, it matched. He felt bad and said he was sorry and that he never saw the scratch because he never got out of the car to brush off the mirror. I am devastated and we cannot afford to fix it. I cannot say anything or be mad at Chris because a few years ago I got a scratch on his old car from the garage and he was so good to me. I am hoping my brother in law can buff it out, but Chris doesn't think so.

Thanks, but I think it will be okay now. The Atv actually wasn't too bad. I don't think it would have woken me up. I just heard it because I was on the computer and the computer room is right in front of the house. I don't mind as much if they are doing snow earlier because if you have somewhere to go you have to be able to get out. When he was doing the leaf blower at 8 am last month that was really annoying.

Heidi that is too bad about the scratch. I am sure that Chris feels terrible about it too. Maybe it will be able to be buffed out, or maybe some touch up paint would work. I hate those tiny skinny garages. Our old house had one. I parked the van in it and it was a tight squeeze. Once, I was backing out and hit the mirror. Instead of stopping, I hit the gas and totally broke the mirror off. Brad was able to go to a junk yard and get me another one though.

Heidi buy a Magic Eraser. This will help until your BIL can see and work on it for you.

Let me add I pray you are not getting what I have had. It has been the worse case of sore throat I could imagine. Of course it was strep but even after 7 days it is uncomfortable when I have to swallow. I still wake up choking or in pain from swallowing. I have been searching for immune system boasters but I have not been very sucessful in my search.

I remember when Erik put a scratch on my car. He had been told numerous times no riding the bike in the garage next to my "new" car. It was new then, not even 3 months old. He put scratches all the way down the driver side. I was furious!!! Needless to say it was not one of those parenting moments I like to remember.

Marice I am sure you made yourself clear on what hurricane. I am just not with it...plus I am a blonde.

It was a very long day. I thought it would never end.

My student's gave me some neat things. Meggie gave me this adorable ice cube looking block that has penigun picks that go in the ice. They are so cute!! Steph gave me a GC to her mom's restarant, which just happens to be one of my favorite places to eat!!! Then Haley sent me a candy cane thru one of the clubs. I have never had a student send me a piece of candy before. It almost made me cry. lol I love my kids. I was a bit embarrassed that they bought me something though. I did not expect gifts.

Plus I forgot it was time to get the bonus we get yearly. lol Since the secretaries do not get the bonuses the teachers get from the State the faculty gives us $100 GC's to the mall. I felt like I won the lottery. On Monday the PTSA gave us a GC to another restaruant. Our PTSA is awesome. Each year they give every employee a $25 GC to Village Tavern. We have 150 employees if not more than that.

My head was pounding so bad by the time I got home that I put on my jammies and took a nap. Jeff went and bought KFC for dinner. OMG I know I gained 10lbs with dinner but dang KFC has some good chicken. lol

OH yeah, I get home and one of my dear friends had sent me 2 bottles of wine in a special wine carrying bag with a gorgeous wine stopper. Plus I got this amazing Christmas card in the mail. It had this beautiful bride and groom on the picture. Wonder who sent that? lol Great picture Heidi!!

PS ... Sandy I got your card last week. I love it too!!

I was just so surprised at the presents. I love to give and love to watch people open gifts. Jeff and I do not exchange gifts often so when I get something it is nice and well appreicated but NEVER expected. This is only my second year working directly with kids before I was more behind the scenes so I never had students to give me anything. Speaking of work, it is crazy busy but today is my last day until next year.
