I just got back a little bit ago from a day at the spa. It was great! I haven't done that in many,many year. All I want to do now is take a nap.

I am just overwhelmed with a lot right now. Upset with the kids behavior. Upset at Jeff for not being strict enough with the kids and then not follow thru with his punishments metered out. It is cold and I hate cold weather.
One of my student pages, who is an awesome girl, was defered from Wake Forest University. She is upset and she is really a great girl. It just seems everything is hitting me at once. Then with the way the kids are acting, Erik not bringing home good grades due to not trying and doing the work and Mac for various inappropriate behavior, I feel like a failure as a parent. I know I have raised them better than this!! I know I have.

OK vent is over. You guys are the BEST!!! I know I am so lucky with all that God has blessed me with but .... well I will get over it in a few days.

Awe, Selena, don't feel like a failure. Sometimes kids go through these stages even when they have amazing parents. (Ask my mom!!!!) I went through stage of not doing my homework and getting 0's because of it for homework grades.....then I graduated in the top of my class in High School and graduated Cum Laude in College. It's just a stage. You are a great parent......hang in there.

Cristi - glad you got to go to the spa. Where did you go?

I agree that it is a stage......a teenager stage! You are an awesome parent and believe me, the kids will tell you that in a couple of years.

Cristi, what spa? I have only done it once and it was at Beau Visage in Greenwood Village. Heidi surprised me to a day at the spa. Stacey joined us. It was the best day I have ever had!

Bags are packed and it is down time. Unfortunately I found time to get on the computer. I just checked the weather in Playa Del Carmen and it has a lot of rain showers and on Thursday and Friday, no sun and thunderstorms. That's NOT fair!

Been thinking about Jrsy all day. Hope they are having a blast.

Sandy, I know you will not see this but you can hardly ever go by the weather online when looking at out of the country.

Jeff and I had a date night and did some shopping on Friday. Then we had a Christmas Party last night. Great weekend but Friday we did not get to finish our shopping because we thought the mall stayed open later than normal for Holiday Hours but we were wrong. YUCK!! I get to go there today. Yuck!!!

Selena - I HATE going to the mall during the holiday season, it is such a nightmare.

Today and tomorrow it is suppose to snow up to 8 inches in our area, we will see what we get. Looks like Jrsy lucked out on this snowstorm. I am hoping it doesn't snow that much because I will have to go shovel my parent's driveway and I have 2 doctor's appointments today and tomorrow.

Cristi - drive careful if we get a lot of snow.

I went to Beau Visage over next to Arrow. I really liked it! I can't wait to go back (I put gift cards to there on my Christmas list).

Cristi - drive careful if we get a lot of snow.

I am not looking forward to the drive tomorrow morning. I hope it stops snowing. It takes me forever to get to work in the snow. I can't seem to come up with a good snow route to our building since we moved last winter. Usually in the morning I take C470, but that doesn't work well in the snow.

Cristi - I love Beau Visage! I went to the one by arrow once for a massage. That is where I use to get waxing done. The roads are slick filled with ice and snow so be careful. Hoping you don't have it as bad. I got out before the snow plows so it made it for a stressful drive to work.

Thanks for the warning. I am trying to get Jacob to hurry up so we can leave early, but you know how that can go. I am supposed to be to work at 7:30, but we don't actually have our first patient until 8:30 today so if I am late it isn't a huge deal.

I am so excited, I was finally able to book the May 30th cruise and go on the 7 day instead of the 4 day with the girls!!! It cut my countdown in half!

My back is killing me. I shoveled my parents driveway and sidewalk after work yesterday and that snow was heavy! I was bad and took one of Chris's muscle relaxers because I could hardly move last night.

Hey everyone! Guess what, it snowed all night. It hasn't snowed here this much since 1986 they said on the news. I didn't get much sleep. My phone kept ringing. We played in it this morning and took pics. I will have to post. I haven't seen this much snow in about 10 years. Last time was in North Texas. What a magical morning! But I'm sleepy. They didn't close the schools because it's supposed to melt fast. The high today is in the 50s. But, I let Aerial stay home.
