Now that tax season is over I'm starting to get in the mood to do more decorating. My bedroom is next up. After that, the kitchen, a new tv, then Aerial will get a new bedding set. (I'm hoping by the time I get there she will be taking better care of her room ) I have a 4 poster canopy bed that I've never put any kind of material at all around the top. Well a friend of mine used to have one of those canopies on top of her bed that you hang on the ceiling. She gave it to me. So, that's where I'm starting. I think I may have picked out a comforter set finally. I've only been looking since last summer. Nah I'm not picky or anything. Really I'm attached to my old set I have now like an old pair of shoes. But, I think it's time to get rid of more that I had in Dane's house. My friend Lauren told me she would help me get it all coordinated. So, maybe that will be my summer project.

Marcie - that chicken recipe sounds so good, I am going to have to try that. Hang in there, April is almost over with...no more stressing! You are going to love decorating your room, I am so jealous. Wish I could decorate mine, but I have no talent or creativity so mine will stay boring!

Hey everyone! I had a really stressful, bad day at work. Tomorrow is the end of the quarterly payrolls and of course we slam at the end of April since we wait until after April 15th. I just took a long hot bath and I'm having a Mojito.

Oh man, I see Jrsy is at it again.

Ted's work called looking for ideas for a gift for his 35 years. Ted really is hard to buy for and I don't have a clue. They said not too expensive. What does that mean???? They mentioned something that he could take on the cruises or Mexico, something for the trailer and after that they didn't have ideas exactly what. I gave them an idea for a Touch Ipod. Is that too much money? Man talking about being put in a spot. Do any of you have ideas? They want him to be able to "see" it and think of the office like a pocket watch. Well, Ted would never ever use one. Help! I have until 5 today to come up with something.

Heidi, I was just thinking about Selena as well.

Cristi, if I am correct, Cosmo goes to Selena next. We will have to sort out his vacation plans.

Just when I need to be cheered up.

Really, I'm okay, just totally worn out. This was the hardest April 30th in a long time. I guess some of it was because of the co-worker who quit a month ago and then I got a new client, found out Monday that I had to set them up for payroll that was due today. Was very complicated. I worked through lunch today and didn't finish until after 4. Did I mention it was due today? It's okay though, my boss was happy I finished it.

Okay, I have been freaking out on what to do with my hair so I am taking a break and found some of these that I like. What do you think? I won't be putting flowers in my hair, just sparkly stuff!

I'm torn, I like the first one, but it probably looks better WITH the flowers. The second one may look better without. The third is my least favorite.

I ordered this comforter, bed skirt & shams yesterday. I still have to get my sheets, which I think when I see the comforter I will decide, but I'm pretty sure they will be red. My canopy is the cream color, so I may do cream curtains, but they need to be thick enough to keep the sun out. It took me a year to decide on this set. I wanted something feminine but not super girly, like me.

I don't see any. It's from sears.com, in the bed in a bag section. I wasn't sure if I will like that much red, but what the heck. I love it. My living room has red accents and I really love it, so i can't wait until I see what it looks like in my room. BTW my the color of my wood of my bedroom set is about the color of the floor in that pic. Should I'm pretty sure it's going to look good together.
