The kids are off at school. You would be proud of me, no tears. I think it helped that right after Rachel took off to go to school, I had to get Jacob up so he could get ready. Of course, after I dropped him off I came home and was watching some taped Olympics and I started crying.

Rachel only goes until 10:30 today. We are going to go to the movies this afternoon before we have to pick up Jacob.

Okay, I am just posting to see if my signature works. I put stuff in it again and it wasn't showing up. So, I posted a question about it on the tech boards and the pictures showed up. I want to see if they are here too.

Yeah, it worked. It was just strange because it used to be that it was retroactive. If I put a new signature up it would show up on all of my old posts too. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I know, that is what was weird. In the past it has always shown up on the older posts too.

That drink was really good! It was for both of us, but it was really strong and we both had a really good buzz going from it.

Rachel just called and she has to stay late because they gave two of them the same locker by mistake. They have to get that straightened out and then she has to move her stuff in to her new locker. Do you think she would be completely embarrassed if I waited for her on the front porch.

Cristi, you did well! I am proud of you. I am sure it was hard. It was good that you were able to wait until you got home to have a little break down. You needed to do that in order to feel better.

I have the same problem with my avatar on another board. I will change it and then it will not show up. Other people see if before I do. Weird!

I was going to go and renew my DL and go to work for a couple of hours but Jeff now has the cold I had this weekend. He has only taken 1 sick day in 7 years and he took one today so I know he feels awful. I chose to stay home and take care of him verses the other. Yes, I am putting off getting my DL. I am terrified of taking the vision test/road sign test. lol

I did have to run to get Jeff some more medicine and Puffs tissues. Of course that trip cost me $50. lol I did a bit of grocery shopping while I was there. I also stopped by a department store and bught 2 pairs of shoes. I had to settle for the ones I bought. They are cute but not quite what I wanted. But hey 2 pairs was $35 total!! One pair is Angier, so that is an awesome deal. I also stopped by the cable place and paid my road runner bill.

I need to walk but I am really hungry. I am going to wait to walk until I have had lunch. Plus I am sure I will have to fix Jeff his soup and grill cheese he has requested before I could finish exercising.

Cristi, I am sitting here wondering how the locker situation turned out. Normally they like to keep them in a certain area that is beneficial to the student. Did it work out ok?

I did wait on the front porch for her. We didn't end up going to the movies though. She decided that she would rather stay home and watch a movie together.

I swear it was for two. It was something like 48 ounces. If I had drank that whole thing by myself, I would have been passed out under the table. They must have put half a bottle of tequila in it.

The locker situation turned out fine. Her new one is just at the other end of the hallway. I think it might actually be a little closer to the majority of her classes. Turns out her nemesis is in her PE class. She isn't happy about that. That is the only class they have together though. She doesn't have any classes with her main group of friends from last year (except her old boyfriend). She does have 3 classes with a friend that she used to hang out with though and she made a new friend that she has 2 classes with.

Opps did I say that I only went to the Department Store? I went to Walmart for the meds and groceries, Department Store (it is not really a dept store but this is the best way to explain this store) and the Cable Place.

Jeff has slept, ate and played the Xbox all day, huh...that is like a normal day at home for him.

I am sure she will just make new friends. Mac did not know anyone in her 6th grade class and made new ones. In 7th one of those friends and Mac decided they were going to try to be friends with everyone in their group. Mac made one of her BF's that day.
