 Thanks for all the prayers.  and for having other people keep us in their prayers. I don't think I have ever prayed so much in my life. I did read that website and all the success stories and I hope Tyler becomes one. Thanks for finding the support group, I tried to find one for my sister but couldn't. I am sending her the link, I hope she uses it. One of my online friend's cousin has used this diet and it has done wonders for her son. She gave me her cousin's phone number and email for Stacey and I am hoping if this is the route she has to take that she can offer her a lot of advice since she is going through it first hand.

It is 1:00am here and I cannot sleep. I felt miserable yesterday, I didn't even get out of my pj's and then I went to bed at 8:00pm because I was so miserable I didn't want to stay up anymore. I have no idea what it is. It feels like my sinuses, then I have a cough and feels like something is in my lungs and then on top of that another migraine. I tried Mucinex, and then sinus medicine, then Excedrin Migraine and I just don't know what to use with all my symptoms and not overdose.

Marcie - how are you feeling?

Mom - I hope you are still up to going today. I need to get out of the house, even if I am not moving too quickly, Thankfully I still have an appetite. I will go back to bed and try and sleep so I might be awake by 8:00!!!

Well I still don't feel the greatest, but a weekend of rest definitely helped. Wish I didn't have to work today. But, I go for my recheck today for my Lasik surgery. I should get all the information.

Heidi, I'm sorry you couldn't sleep.

Hopefully all of the info helps y'all.

Good for you Marcie. One step closer to Lasik.

Heidi and I ended up shopping for a short time. She is certainly not up to par.

I was thinking about your Lasik's today.

Heidi, I hope you start feeling better soon.

Sandy. Just wanted to give you hugs.

So, I went to my eye appt. today. I am having my Lasik Friday morning at 9:30, so I took a day of vacation for Friday. I am having the blade free lasik. My instructions include, I can't wear any makeup to the procedure, no eye makeup for a week. No reading the day of surgery (this one will be very hard). Of course they told me about the watery eyes, scratchy feeling. I'm nervous but getting more excited. I have an opportunity to buy a lifetime warranty for all tweaks free. Not sure if I should or not. The surgery covers 1 year of all appointments and whatever I need in that time. Any thoughts?

Marcie - Friday....wow, they work quick!! If it were me, I would buy the lifetime warranty, but I usually buy any warranties. What happens to the lifetime warranty if the place goes bankrupt or just closes for no reason?

Aerial's birthday is next Sunday. That means Alex is having a birthday too. She will be 15. :scared1: I bought her a game for her Nintendo DS and I am going to see if she wants her bff to spend the night Saturday night and then take them to lunch and get her a cake on Sunday.
Yep...he turns 12 on Saturday. We offered to buy him a new electric guitar for his birthday, but he is really attached to the one he has so he turned down the offer (which means I get to buy myself a guitar for his birthday instead). Instead, we are going to give him the Wii that we'd bought as a family gift for Christmas, knowing that it is really a gift for all of us, but not telling him that. We also ordered an Indiana Jones cake from Safeway. He decided he didn't want to do anything big on his birthday, but we'll go to California Pizza Kitchen and he may bring a friend or two along.

It won't be so hard for the no reading. The best thing to do is come home and go to sleep. You are tired from the meds anyway and my surgeon told me that the best thing for your eyes is to keep them closed as much as possible the first day. I had mine done in the morning and then slept all afternoon. I mentioned on your other thread that my place has a free lifetime warranty. If it hadn't I would probably have gotten one anyway. Good luck!

Happy Birthday Alex and Ariel!

Rachel turns 13 in a month. :scared1: :) She still hasn't decided what she wants to do for her birthday.

Busy day for us. Ted is off and we are trying to get some stuff done. Everything we tackle ends up a hastle. I was on hold this morning starting at 6:00 with DCL for the 2010 bookings and after 55 minutes on hold, I got disconnected. Luckily Heidi didn't and transferred our ressies for us.

Thanks. I just know my insomnia problems. I'll be alone all afternoon so i hope I can keep myself in the bed. I am leaning towards getting it. I am going to study the paperwork tonight.

Okay, how do we stop them from growing up??? :lmao: We looked at driver's ed courses yesterday.

I am biting my tongue.

We set a good example because obviously none of us have bothered to grow up.

So many birthdays coming up. Happy early birthday to Aerial, Alex and Erik!!!

Okay, i was wondering when i typed that if you would catch it. :lmao: :rotfl:
Figured it might be inappropriate to suggest that if you weren't alone, you would have less trouble keeping yourself in bed. Oh...wait...I just suggested it...:rolleyes1

MacKenzie got her Permit in April. It is shocking that in 6 months she could have her licenses. We have not agreed to letting her have it though. That is part of her punishment for her behavior earlier.

Marcie, Erik is now as tall as I am. He is inching to being taller and I am sure in a month he will be taller than I am. He has let me know that I will then be the short one in the family.
