I love my new Rocket2. I was just looking online for some recipes and came across this:

Non-Alcoholic Diet Drinks - Funky MonkeyServes 4 for about 125 calories each

2 cups of ice cold skim milk
1 ripe, peeled banana
2 Tablespoons of Macadamia nuts
2 Tablespoons of Marshmallow Fluff
1-4 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired
4 additional Tablespoons of Marshmallow Fluff for topping purposes
Blend all ingredients except 4 Tablespoons of fluff until frothy. Pour into chilled glasses. Add 1 Tablespoon of fluff to each glass. Enjoy while ice cold.

I had to work late yesterday. The computer guy finally come to fix my computer yesterday and it took him all day. Well in the late morning a client called me and pretty much made me promise him some financial statements by tomorrow, and I didn't have a computer!!! I was running all over the office bouncing from computer to computer while people weren't using them. The computer guy left at 5 so I stayed to finish on my computer. I still have a little bit left though because I found out that while I was at Disney we needed to do changes to this clients statements and the person who did them didn't save them. I called her at home and she couldn't remember. So, I ended up redoing some of it. By the time I left I had a drink calling my name so I skipped the gym. What a day!!!

Today I go back to the doctor. I went ahead and took vacation starting at 2:30 so I don't feel guilty for not going back afterwards.

We got our first cold front. Yesterday it was 85 degrees at 11:30 and 65 at 12:30. Now it's 51, but the high today is around 75 I think.

Marcie - what a weird day for you. I hate those kind of work days. Our IT Dept isn't all that great either so we borrow each other's computers to get stuff done too!! Only one of our computers have a program that we need to use and unfortunately it is our benefits person. So we always bump her, for whatever reason IT cannot get the program to run on any other computer.

Mom - that recipe sounds good!!! Just need to throw in some rum!

Jrsy, I am sure we all understand Tammy's feelings about ornaments. Maybe mid year or something we could have a "themed" exchange. Might be fun.

We've got SNOW!!! Ted is out shoveling. Can you believe that? The Broncos play tonight and it is a home game. The snow should end and the temp in the 20's.

Selena, how is your dog doing? Wow, Nick is tall. I have a very tall nephew but his dad is tall. Where did Mac and E get their heighth? Dad?

Wow snow. I would like to visit but keep it out there, ok? lol

Actually Mac is the tall one in the family. Jeff is only 5'9". If you ask him he will say 5'10". However, his uncles are all over 6 feet. Now Erik is slowly growing. He is just hitting the beginning of purberty (sp). He has grown almost 2 inches in a couple of months. Which is amazing for him.

Now we have been over this subject before and it got a little perverted but I have decided to buy The Bullet. Anyone buy one yet? I am looking at Kohl's version called The Rocket2. It has 200 watts. The Bullet costs around 60.00 and Kohl's has theirs on sale for 20.00 normally 50.00. What do you think?

I say buy the cheap one and use it soon and let us know how it works. lol

Well it looks like I am going out to FL from Nov 7th - Nov 13th. Chris's mom had a stroke 2 weeks ago and was diagnosed with Diabetes. During the whole thing she fell through her floor in her trailer that she lives in. All of Chris's siblings arranged to be out there at the same time so they can fix up her trailer and replace the floor and since all will be out there they are making it an early Thanksgiving. Chris bought himself a ticket a few weeks ago but couldn't afford mine but now that he got paid again he went ahead and bought me a ticket. We can't afford it but it is for his mom and Chris said financially everything will work out in the end for us.

Selena, my heart and prayers go out to you. I am sorry for whatever is upsetting your family. All of us funky monkeys are here for you whenever you are ready to talk. Take care of that family!

Marcie, what a bad day at work. It doesn't seem fair that you had all that going and then have to take a half day vacation off to go to the Drs. They should just give it to you after all that.

So far, so good with the Rocket. We had some premixed margaritas and mixed with ice. Turned out perfect. Then I used a packet of shake mix for my diet and added frozen strawberries. Yummy! I did some research and found a cheesecake recipe, some soup recipes, diet recipes. I am happy I bought it!!

Our resort had a dolphin area. These pics are taken from my dd's balcony -- everyone in my family had a dolphin view room but us! We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite, 2 stories, 2 bathrooms w/a living room and dining area plus a balcony off of both floors facing the ocean.... BUT< I really wanted a dolphin view for Claire & Elvis!!! LOL!

Crisit, sorry to hear about your shortness of breath. You are doing great by going in!! I don't care where we go. Never been to HOPS so I don't know what I am missing. Panera sounds good. I can have a strawberry salad there that will stay within my diet.
