Hey did y'all see the free dining is going on again in aug & sept. That would be nice to go out there for 3 or 4 days. Don't know if I would be able to afford it, but later when I'm bored from living alone i might look into the pricing.

If we can swing it timewise we will be going!!! I am hoping to decide in the next day!!!

Back from Heidi's taste testing. Luckily the snow held off. We had a terrific time. Great food. Stopped and saw the babies afterwards. It is getting harder and harder for me as Saturday's move approaches. I thought I was over the tears but it seems to be coming back even more. I do have the trip to look forward to with the ENTIRE family. What more could I ask for?

Looks like I will be sleeping in my new place tonight. I will only have dial up all weekend. Monday I'm set up to get my roadrunner. Hopefully we don't work tomorrow. I have a lot of unpacking to do.

Marcie, I think you will enjoy your new place. It will feel a little strange for a while but then you will realize that there is no stress there anymore. You and Aerial can do and say what you please, when you please and not have to worry about Dane. Your new place will be heaven sent before you know it!

The storm was a big bust. I heard that we might get an inch or two and that is it. At least the big move on our end will be easier in drive not by emotions though. Lucky Stacey has a Pampered Chef party to give so she won't be around for some of her move.

Marcie, Happy Housewarming! It will feel wonderful before you know it. It's a new beginning! There will be many happy times there, with family and friends and especially Aerial.

I am a little upset bc I was supposed to go to a bachelorette party this weekend in Maryland but I forgot it was the same weekend and my cousin's confirmation. The bachelorette party is for the friend who didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid. I don't really want to revoke my RSVP to the confirmation esp. since it is only the bridal party and her 2 friends from Maryland. I don't want to feel uncomfortable. Especially since they're all a size 6 and will be dancing on tables the whole night, and they have a whole bunch of male genetalia shaped accessories, lol. (PS after seeing what her bridesmaids bought her, I NEVER want a bachelorette party. EVER. )

I want to be there for her, and I'm nervous she won't come to my wedding one day if I don't go to this. It's weird. When I was younger, I always had a group of 5 or 6 tight friends, now I have friends scattered everywhere- Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Canada, Pennsylvania, etc. I miss having those people right there to be tight with. I have friends at work (all three jobs, lol) but I just don't have that tight group to hang out with anymore. My friends are not all friends with each other - they're too scattered.

I guess I'm just afraid that when I have my Disney wedding, the people I thought would be there for me, won't go.

Gosh Lulu. I hate the feelings you are having right now. Whatever choice you make, someone will be pleased that you can attend. I know what you mean when your friends start to scatter. You kind of feel a loss.

Well the doctor's office just called me to tell me that the blood work they did for my pancreas last week is a little high. Not high like last year but high enough. No drinking for me this weekend darn it!!! I have to go get retested next week. I am glad to know why my stomach has been so sick. I guess stress just makes me a baby.

The good news is my king size bed looks a lot better then I thought it would in my room.

Yay on the bed. Sprawl out sideways, curl up in the covers and enjoy every inch!

I hope your counts are better, but remember stress doesn't make you a baby, it just has unavoidable physical responses. You can't blame yourself for that. Some people get gastro intenstinal problems, some headaches, some other things, it's not your fault.

As far as my friend, I really have to say family comes first. If it were her wedding, I would break it, but not for a bachelorette party. I will just hope that when my time comes, she'll attend my wedding, too. If not, I can't control that.

Marcie, a big king size to yourself sounds like HEAVEN! I am jealous. Like Lulu said, we all respond to stress differently. I eat and eat. Oops, that's not good! With Stacey moving this weekend, I would love to pig out and have a drink or two. I am trying to be good. How good you ask? We will have to wait for the answer to that one till Monday!

Just got back from a Hallmark store. Speaking of STRESS! Have you ever cried in a Hallmark store? Sheez, I am so emotional right now. I need a DRINK! (as I am eating cashews and m&m's.). Shhhh, don't tell LA Weight Loss. They will find out soon enough at my weigh in on Monday. LOL

Me, too! Family first. ANd I'm a little partial since I have a 16dd that will be making her Confirmation in Oct '07 -- she is at a retreat this weekend in preperation.

We are doing okay here. Brad has a phone interview a week from tomorrow. He is going to send out a bunch more resumes this weekend too. We did find out that the health insurance will continue through the severence package pay period (about 3 months) so that is a good thing, we shouldn't have to Cobra. I think this experience has actually been bringing us closer together.

Cristi, isn't it funny how some stress can bring a family closer together? Sounds like so far everything is ok.

We made it through yesterday. It was so tough. At least that part is over. Now we just have to get used to the idea. I am so looking forward to our cruise together and that seems to help me a lot.

Hi everyone. I am sorry I have not checked in lately.

My dad is doing well. He was released from the hospital on Thursday. I took Wednesday and Thursday off to be with him. Since they had to shock his heart after all he had to be watched for 24 hours and since they let him out of the hospital before the 24 hours I took care of him.

He was so ready to leave the hospital. His back is killing him though. I had to stop and buy him some pain reliever, then we had lunch and came back to my house. He was able to take a nap for 2 hours. He had not slept well in the hospital.

He did go home after dinner Thursday.

Marcie, honey you will get use to that huge bed all to yourself. If you ever have to share it you might even have an issue with it. lol

Sandy has Stacey moved now? I have been thinking about you and Heidi alot.

Jrsy you go and take Dane out for us, ok? We would cheer you on as you beat the crap out of the jerk.

Cristi how are you doing? Seems I have missed you and LuLu a lot lately.

Stephanie how is your nephew? I hope he is doing well.

We have kittens. The cat my son got last year kind of got out when she came into heat and today she had 4 kittens. They are so cute. Erik was able to experience kitten birth. lol He did better than I did.

We are not going to keep them but we did name the little darlings. We have a solid black one his/her name is Harley.
Two striped ones they are Fat Girl and Sturgis. Then a gray one named Charlie. lol The kids had fun with it all today.

You *have* to share more about kitten birth! I have never witnessed any live birth. I don't know if I ever will! LOL

I am breezing on and off the DIS getting my lessons, vocab, writing assignments, etc. together for school tomorrow (if it's not washed away - we've had pouring rain ALL day, all I hear is splashing and fire trucks one after another!)

I did get tagged today, so that definitely brightened my day!

Oh Selena, they are soooo cute. I want the black one! Ted would kill me though. I have never witnessed an animal birth either. How special! And yes, Stacey moved yesterday. It wasn't a good day that is for sure!

Anybody have a good idea on how to clean those white "plastic" patio chairs? Mine are getting so grungy and we use them camping. I don't want to throw them out and get new because these are heavy duty and they don't make them like that anymore.
