Often I find myself wishing I was Chris (for obvious reasons ) but not yesterday, that's for sure!

You sure know how to make a girl feel good!!!

The disboards have been so helpful to me and have helped me focus on being proactive!!!! Instead of worrying about the what if's and what about and when....I am now focused on what I want to be doing when my sister moves. You know instead of saying I wanted to take my niece and nephew to McDonald's after school and now I can't, etc....I am not thinking in the ways that it will make it only more special when I take off work early (hello I work for the govt...lots of time off!!!!) for suprise visits to take them!! I have only been to this place since I was 2 and can drive there with my eyes closed....so who cares if it takes an hour and a half roudtrip now instead of 10 minutes, I will not let that stand in my way!!!! I can do it, we can all do it. (thank god I have every other Friday off!!!!) I will post this on my refrigerator at home for reminders when I am feeling sad!!!!

There you go! That is a good attitude to have. Start thinking positively. Since there isn't anything you can do to change it, figure out what you can do to make the best of it.

I'm here Selena! Just been busy. Hopefully in another week things will calm down a little bit. Plus evenings have been busy with Idol lately.

Did all of my Co friends make it home today? The roads were REALLY slick on the way home. Should be fun going to work in the morning.

Thanks for all the hugs. I can't believe how icy the roads were yesterday.

Chris took me out to dinner last night and apologized to me and told me he just has a difficult time understanding since he is not close to his family. So we are all better now. I am still sad, but I just keep trying to come up with the pros of the move for my sister!!!

I can see where he is coming from. We moved out here to be closer to Tammy's family since I am not as close with mine. She was much sadder living in NJ than I am living in CO. I took me a while to understand why.

I really think that people who aren't close to family members don't understand the bonds that some families have. A lot of people think we are crazy. I will admit that when I was talking to my LA Weight Loss counselor about it, it did sound funny to be so upset when she is just going to Monument. Does that mean that I am coming to grips with it? Maybe!!!

When I'm not busy being stressed I'll try to be funny, ok? IRL I am much more fun to be around then I am online.

Dh just left for Austin (3 - 4 hr drive) to vist my nephew for an hour or so.
I think our 23dd is going down today, also. I think we are in the doghouse with her right now (wedding stuff) so, she didn't reply to her dad's email about riding down with him. Oh, well.

Hey everyone, I am here. Barely. I have an inner ear infection and was dizzy this morning I went to the doctor but I'm at work now and worked through lunch to make up for it. Hopefully antibiotics will do the trick. I am soooo busy at work, and then Aerial has either a softball game or practice each evening. I sat outside at the game last night and I think that's why my sinus got so much worse. My ears are all stopped up. 7 more weeks of tax season. I will be glad when I'm done. Is there an exhaustive smiley? I'm going to finally go see my Mom after work on Saturday, it's my Uncles 50th anniversary, and they are having a party. I still can't believe he's been married that long, he surely doesn't look like he's old enough to be married that long. He had to have gotten married at 15.

Heidi & Sandy I am sorry Stacey is moving away. I know how it is. I live in my home town but no one in my family lives here anymore. I'm glad you are coming to terms with it.

Steph, I am sorry about your nephew. He's in my prayers, I hope he continues to get better.

That is usually my dh! In his *online world* (he's a gamer) I know that he talks to those people ALOT but, IRL he really only talks to family.

Sandy, I hope sometime that we get to meet IRL and that you feel comfortable enough around me to talk!
