Negative temperature this morning and guess whose furnace isn't working. Re-lit the pilot light about 4-5 times this morning and it won't stay lit. Tammy is going to have to call someone this morning or she and Alex will be popsicles by the time I get home.

Yummmy girl scout cookies. I love the chocolate mint kind. I would be buying some if I lived in Co. Cristi, doesn't it make you sad that they are growing up. I guess it has to happen eventually. Aerial will going to the formal Mardi Gras Dance in a month or so.

Hi Jrsy. Looks like we posted at the same time. You will be able to thaw out soon on your trip. I hope she can get that furnace fixed soon.

The cold is finally hitting us. It stalled out and was 65 still when I went to bed last night. It's raining now and about 38. I hope we don't get the ice because SE Texas people do NOT know how to drive in the stuff. Including me.

It worked yesterday. It must have quit some time during the night. I wonder if it hasn't just been running more due to the colder weather, so something ended up wearing out or frying. Somebody is supposed to be over there this morning. Luckily, we have an electric portable heater to keep them warm in the meantime.

The good news is that the furnace is running again and it only cost $75. The bad news is that we will need to replace it. Apparently, it was so cold that the furnace couldn't heat the air that was coming in, so it was just quitting. It has been running fine since yesterday.

Oh my Jrsy, sorry to hear about your furnace!! Our pipes froze at our other house but we managed to get it thawed out before the plumber's appt.

Jeff's Aunt Sandra had triple by pass surgery this past summer. His whole family has terrible heart disease. Now she has Cardiac Arrhythmia. They shocked her heart last week but it did not work. She is back in the hospital. Her heart is only operating at 10%. They are trying medicine but if that does not work the only option is a transplant. PLEASE pray for his family. Sandra is Jeff's dad’s baby and only sister. He is torn up pretty bad which is not good for his heart either. He has had two heart attacks and is still have heart issues of his own. Sandra's daughter is just a few years younger than us and has a daughter, Courtney 13 and new baby Riley 6 months.

Selena - I will keep Jeff's family in my prayers. How very scary to go through that. I hope the medicine works so she doesn't have to go with a transplant. Many prayers will be said for her.

Trust me, it isn't easy. It has been a long time since I've had a real vacation and I am in dire need. It has gotten to the point where I don't mind coming to work because I know each day is one day closer to vacation.

No. Lulu asked for my address over a week ago, but I haven't heard from her since. Could she be hoarding Cosmo? We still haven't seen pictures or a trip report.
