If you scored...

1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.

1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!

1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.

1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

I just read about all the cut backs DCL has been making. What is up with them? The prices go up and the quality goes down. I am not sure now if we will ever go back on their ships.

I'm 1958 ;)

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!!!

Selena - what cutbacks? I haven't heard yet. I'm worried :( Disney World's been losing a little magic lately and I can't handle it if the cruise follows suit!

I had a very buys weekend and need a week to recover!!! Thanksgiving was a lot of fun and got to see my aunt and cousins who I haven't seen in a year. My other cousins, (my mom use to babysit them and they are more like our brother and sister), Chris's girls, Chris, my dad and I all played croquet and had a blast. I had a full house that night because my 2 cousins spent the night a long with the girls. One cousin stayed with Chris to play a golf game on the Xbox while my other cousin went shopping with me. We put up the Christmas tree and decorated the house.

We woke up on Friday at 3am to get all the great deals. I managed to get everything on my list as well as my best friends list so it was a worthwhile shopping trip!!!! Saved a lot of money waking up that early and fighting the crowds. After my 2 hour nap, we made a gingerbread house. I hadn't made one for years so it was a lot of fun. The girls loved doing that but they ate way too much candy. That night we met up with my parents for dinner at CiCi's pizza because the girls wanted to go there.

Saturday I went out with my best friend because this weekend her ex-husband flew down to CO and had their son for the weekend. It was her first kid free weekend. We had fun and then she went and got a small tattoo of a heart. We call it the care bear heart because that was her inspiration.

Sunday we had to take the girls back home and they were begging to stay. I thought they would have had enough of us, but I am glad they had fun.

Selena - I loved Grand Cayman when I went there. It was so beautiful, but I went there before the hurricane. Your ex-friend stories make me laugh. I can't believe how immature some people can be. What cutbacks...what did I miss?

Cristi - I tried to see what year I belong in but that site is blocked at my work. I will have to try tonight. This saturday is your party!!!!!

Cristi, I love your Extreme Cruise Section Cheer siggie. It's great. I haven't heard from anyone so I probably didn't get picked. I heard they had lots of applicants. I will cheer too and follow it.

I had a nice weekend. I didn't overly eat on Thursday, actually I wasn't feeling the best and I took a nice long nap after lunch. :goodvibes On Friday we decorated the yard and it looks nice. Then Friday night Aerial and I finished the tree. She really got into this year and wanted it to be pretty. She took pictures of it at different stages and then told me when we had put enough on it. She said she didn't want it overly crowded. She had a good time, and now the kitties are having a good time. :rotfl: But, I have my spray bottle to keep them away. We really need a second tree for all my Disney ornaments. Aerial wanted only the snowmen & snowflakes and balls on the tree. Maybe we will go get a little one and set that up.

Then, Saturday was my 8 year anniversary. I had asked Dane's parents if Aerial could go over there and spend the night. Well I get up Saturday morning and tell Dane I'm going get dressed and he says I need an overnight bag. He surprised me with a night in Galveston. We dropped Aerial off a little before noon and headed over there, had a nice dinner and then we ended up buying movies in the room. We saw, My Super-Ex Girlfriend and Superman Returns. They were both good. It was a nice anniversary, which was very much needed for us.

Sunday we had to get back so Dane could go out of town for work. We picked up Aerial and all three had lunch together then Dane left and Aerial and I went to the movies to see Deck The Halls. It was funny. I also brought Aerial around the mall so she could show me some clothes she likes. It is so hard to figure out a 13 year olds taste. :rotfl2: I think I've got an idea now. I ordered her a few things last night online after she went to bed. Most of my presents this year I'm going to get online. In Dane's family it is a tradition that everyone have their Christmas list at Thanksgiving, so we do this in our immediate family too. The deadline was last night so I finally sat down last night and made a list on Word. I had to email it to Dane to make the deadline. :rotfl: :rotfl2: So, anyway now I have everyone's list and I'm going to get serious about my shopping.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!! Back to work. :confused3 We got here this morning and our lights were surging. And, now my phone keeps ringing and no one is there. Going to be one of those Mondays for sure. :rotfl:

Thursday in Jamaica

We had such a good day in Jamaica. We were suppose to meet outside on the dock at a certain time but decided not to do this. We tried to do a little shopping but really was lost. Lol Mo Bay is confusing. Or at least I thought it was.

We found a taxi and headed over to Margartteville for the day. They have a nice place there. When we got there some of the crew was already there and I had a coupon given to me for a Margarita!! Well what is a girl to do with a free drink coupon but order the drink. I figured since it was a freebie it would not be good but it was very good. I had two freebies.

They have a water side that is a 3 story high one that drops you off into the ocean. I think the depth of the water is 15 feet where you hit. My kids were having a ball on the slide. They also have several trampolines in the water to enjoy. I finally got the nerve up to go down the slide. Since I had been drinking I wanted to wait until after I had lunch. The guy at the slide told me to cross my ankles and my arms for the perfect landing. However it is impossible to keep this position when at the very end you do a loop and you loss it all. I almost lost my top!!! I had to jerk it back up real quick. Jeff came down right after I did. It was fun but I was black and blue from the experience.

We kind of got stuck with the bill. I had requested a separate bill from everyone but since our group grew so much we had 10 people on our bill. Bad thing is someone did not give us enough money and we had to pay a little more than we should have but it was no biggie. No one meant to do it because everyone was guessing and told us if they owe more just to let them know. We did not say anything because I have no clue what happened or who needed to pay more. I mean I was not keeping up with who ordered what. Lol

Once back on the ship we took a short nap and then on to the pool. We sit around and then wound up in that glorious hot tub. I just love the one that juts out over the water. I was afraid it would be real busy but it never really was too busy. We also spent some time in the pool in the Solarium. That pool is nice. They have stools to sit on in the deep end. Oh and the deep in is 6 feet deep too! I liked that.

Over all we had a great time. I really am getting the days confused now. I think this was the quest night. The quest is a game that the CD divides the audience into groups or if the group is small enough they will allow you to form your own groups. In this case Ken had to divide the audience. This was a lot of fun. I did not expect it to be as much fun since we could not work in the group we had planned but it was fun. We did not win but we did have a blast.

After this we all were tired. Jeff, me and the kids all went to bed. Another wonderful day and night aboard the Freedom.

Marcie didn't you guys do the Guavaberry Liqueur?

http://www.guavaberry.com/guavaberry.htm

I think Jeff wants to see about renting a Harley for the day but I also want to do this.

Yes we did taste the Guavaberry Liqueur. It was very good in the Guavaberry Colada. I wanted to buy a bottle but didn't end up having time. :confused3

I was thinking you did this. Did you go to the factory?

Hey can someone tell me what I no longer have smileys?

DCL no longer has the house band or the Steel Drum players on the Wonder. Not sure if the latter is still on the Magic. Many cut backs have been made but I am not sure what else has been done.

WHAT??!!! I love the Steel Drum players. How can they cut out the house band....what do they do now at night and at deck parties...have a DJ? That is so stupid. I am mad at DCL now.

We are now getting into the cold spell. Tomorrow is supose to be in the teens and the low could get to -9. I hope it snows. I love the snow, but don't like the extreme cold weather.

Mom - today the girls's ipod will be delivered. If you won't be home I can send you an email and you can sign the paper and put it on your door.

So far I have Chris's girls, Chris, my niece and nephew almost completely done for Christmas. I just have my parents left!!!!

We are supposed to get an extreme cold front on Thursday. Friday the low is 28 and that is very low for December here on the coast. It usually only gets under freezing 3 or 4 times a year.

I've been ordering some gifts here and there online and yesterday I shopped at lunch. I'll probably try to shop today and tomorrow at lunch since the weather will be getting bad Thursday. I'm taking my time because I find if I finish too early then I will just keep on spending. :rotfl: I got my boss a gas tank liquor dispenser. I hope he likes it.

We went to the emporium. Pretty much all you do is have tastes and look at recipes and buy if you want. It definitely wasn't something to make a day of and you could probably just run by and taste and buy.

BUSY, BUSY WEEKEND. But I am finally back online. Had a terrific Thanksgiving, great Black Friday and then on Saturday Ted and I went to where we scattered our friends ashes and found out that we had to play in thigh high snow to get there. Afterwards we decided to stay in Co Spgs, where Sally and Barb live. We stayed at Embassy Suites. It was so cool. Free cocktails from 5-7 and then in the morning free breakfast. The breakfast had everything imaginable. I highly recommend them. We were prepared to swim and hot tub but after the cocktails we were so relaxed that we just stayed in the room. Sunday we spent painting at Lou's house, the one that passed away. NOT FUN!! Stayed there over night and then painted some more. She was a smoker and we had to do her bedroom twice. ICKY! Ted took off Monday so we did a lot of errands and got the diesel truck inspected.

Heidi, I was gone this morning and will run and pick up Graci in about 10 minutes. After that I will be here all day for the IPODS.

I am hoping to start my peanut brittle today. My Christmas cards are done but I simply refuse to mail them until Dec. Christmas season seems to be starting earlier and earlier through the years. I have mailed all gifts. Need to wrap for everyone around here.

I need to go back and read the posts but at least wanted to say hello.

Heidi, call me regarding the iPod. Your package arrived but it wasn't sealed with packaging tape. Just the box flaps were folded in. Makes me nervous.

Ok Selena, I have looked EVERYWHERE for Jiminy stickers. WHERE did you find them? It seems like everyone has them BUT me!

I'm starting to worry about Sandy. She seems to be talking to herself.
:lmao: Real funny Jrsy. Just cuz you typed with small letters doesn't mean that I can't read it. Actually, I was concerned that it looked like I was talking to myself. Honest, I was hoping someone would respond. Anyone. Really, I do have friends, really!
