6dd got more toys then any little girl would ever need.....Her oldest sisiter and BIL gve her the new American Girl doll, Julie, for one of her gifts from them. So, she is set! LOL!

MacKenzie has a couple of the American Girl Dolls and a My Twinn Doll. She has outgrown dolls now but I still have most of her dolls put away.

Stephanie, I think you will have to learn the word "no" for this visitor!! Make up a story or whatever but I don't think you need to open your doors anymore for her.

Marcie, glad everything worked out with your stepmom. I have been trying to get a hold of my step dad but he must be at his daughters. Was your elliptical trainer "stiff" when it was new? Ours is soooo hard to work it. Heidi played on it today and noticed it, too.

Selena, I know I have more to lose than anyone but I am in! My goal is 20 pounds and exercise at least 3 times a week.

Snow and plenty of it. I swear we have something like 10 inches here. Cristi, is that what you think? It was only to be a dusting and turned into something major. It is still snowing out.

We went to a movie with Heidi and Chris today and had dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Armadillo. Anything before and after was spent SHOVELING three houses, ours, theirs and my brothers who is in Phoenix for a week. Heidi and Chris are dog and house sitting for them.

Early tomorrow Heidi and I are headed out for the after Christmas bargains. Of course, my sweet daughter will do the driving. She is going to pick me up around 5 and we will head to Super Walmart and then to Target for their 7 opening. Heidi is sick with a chest cold. Her chest is killing her.

Sandy, I don't remember the elipitcal being stiff, but it was a long time ago. I just remember how it was so smooth.

So, we know Sandy will be excercising, I will be too, Selena. What do we do. I weighed yesterday and had gained 3 more pounds. I've been sick since Thanksgiving and haven't worked out much. Then today I ate so much chocolate I'm sure I gained more. So, time to lose at least 5 pounds and shape up too.

Heidi, I'm sorry you have a chest cold. I do too. I finished my prednisone on Sunday and by last night I was feeling bad. Today I feel really bad, coughing sneezing, feeling deep in my chest. So, I'm going to call the doctor in the morning. I have to go to work though. I need to get well so I can workout.

Hope you find some good sells when you shop tomorrow, Heidi & Sandy.

Marcie, you NEED to go to the doctor if you still aren't feeling well. It has been WAY to long! I have gained weight as well and plan NOT to go to LA Weight loss this week in hopes to have it off by next Monday. Ted thinks I am crazy about being concerned about the stiff elliptical. What to do, what to do??!!

If Jrsy doesn't mind, maybe we should weigh in once a week and report back the weight loss (hopefully no gains) and also report our exercise for the week. Jrsy might need to hold a lot of purses and/or participate in the Monkey resolutions.

I called the ear, nose & throat doctor and his office is closed until Jan. 3rd. So, I called my family doctor, his office is closed until tomorrow. SO I think at lunch I'm going to the CVS Minute Clinic, to see the Physician's Assistant. At the least I should get antibiotics. I feel horrible today.


BTW, Aerial had American Girl dolls too.

Good grief Marcie. Getting to see the doctor is an impossible dream for you. At least you have the CVS clinic. I heard good things about those places.

Heidi and I are back from shopping. Hardly anyone out there shopping. Not sure if fewer people had today off this year or the snowstorm has kept them at home.

Just got a phone message from LA Weight Loss. I was in a drawing last week for losing 2 lbs and showing up for 3 days. I won the grand prize of 200.00 store credit. Wow. I feel so guilty as I have absolutely NO plans on going in this week. Those two pounds???? Ummmm, I went up the two plus, I am sure.

All 3 of my girls have collected (and played with) American Girl dolls starting 18yrs ago! 24dd got her first one for her 6th b-day. She has a TON of the furniture, etc.... 24dd just took all of her AG stuff (I had it all in huge rubermaid bins in the attic) to her house last year.

6dd now has 2 American Girl dolls so, she is happy. I had bought her one of the AG beds and some other people had bought her some AG clothes. We all got her some Bitty Baby stuff since she still loves her BB's also -- she has 3 of those, the twins and one of the single dolls.

My FIL decided that 6dd needs an entire truck just to take all of her stuff to the new house.

Marcie - I hope you feel better. I can't believe you can't get into the doctors until next year (haha!!!)

Shopping went great but was still feeling under the weather, so I am back home to rest. I think I am going to take tomorrow off to rest, I am sure my coworkers would appreciate that as my cough cleared the aisle at Target today!! So I guess I ended up with this whole week off. Suppose to get more snow tonight...we will see how much we get!

You are right.... I really wish I had made up something to tell her! LOL! I just wasn't expecting anyone to ask if they could stay for 9 days diring a Holiday!!!! I also had to cancel my NYEve plans!!! DH and I were going to go to a party but, I don't think my kids want to stay at home with a stranger in the house! kwim?

Heidi, i know what you mean about the cough. I apologized to my co-worker across the hall because she has heard me cough all day and sniff, and blow my nose and cough some more. I really am starting to feel like bronchitis. Ugghhh 15 minutes I can go to the clinic. Oh and it's pouring down raining.

Marcie, the diet is all about eating "normal" food but they do have prepared foods, supplements, snacks, and drinks that are optional. We do have to buy what is called LA lights (pretty much protein drinks or bars) and have them twice a day. Can't wait to hear what the clinic's diagnosis is.

I looked at the diagnostic sheet and both of my ears were abnormal, lymph nodes swollen, nose abnormal sinuses abnormal and i am getting the beginning of bronchitis. They wait it's not too deep down yet, so maybe I will knock the bronchitis out with the meds. Of course, the nurse practioner can only give a set list on prescriptions. But, I did get a Zpac & some nose spray. The supervising doctor was there and she screened me. She was very good and nice, I didn't like the nurse practioner guy. The doctor even walked with me over to the cold med isle and told me to try drixoral tonight and then when I start getting better to go back to claritan D. If all this doesn't work, when the ENT opens back up next week I'm going get another shot.

Hey everyone.

When I get back I will weigh in and post my weight. My goal is to excerise 3 times a week and eat healthy. I need to tone up realy bad. I was disgusted with my body today when I went to get my spray tan. Very disgusted!

I swear by the Zicam Swabs and Walmart Equate Brand Head Congestion Severe Cold Formula. I start using both as soon as I feel sick. You guys who are sick please take care of yourself. This nasty cold is turning deadly so be careful!

We are packed. Just have to put the luggage in the car. We wound up with 4 bags. Flying weight limits kills you. If it was not for the limit we could have gone with 2 bags. I have a large roller duffel that will hold tons of stuff. Oh well.

I hope evyerone has a wonderful New Year's.

Selena, you are so correct. The 50 lb weight restriction adds to more luggage. We get so frustrated! Have fun and think of all of us. We will miss you.
