So I thought I'd finally take the Craigslist plunge and list my very first item. Here I am little Miss Honest with this great item - a Dell Mini 9 laptop that I had bought for my DD for Christmas thinking her laptop was broken when it wasn't. Needless to say, it is about 8 months later and she hasn't used it for more than 2 hours. I'm thinking to myself what a great item to put on Craigslist.
I can't believe these scamers responding!
Thank God I'm educated enough to know not to fall for these people.
One person wanted to buy it...then writes back and will offer me $150 more to ship it to her husband over seas
do they really think I'm that stupid?
I specifically said "CASH ONLY" and another person said he is out of state but wants to give me a certified check and his movers will pick it up
This whole experience really rots
I thought I was posting a great item for someone and all I get is these scamers.
Any advise on how to deal with Craigslist?
