Hello fellow crafters. I have decided that my daughters upcoming birthday will be a combo movie pizza party. I am having a heck of a time thinking of an invite concept that works and is still super crafty. Key components -
Part 1. Movie (most likely Transylvania Hotel) starts the party. We meet at the theatre. Parents are welcome to stay for the movie and I would like to pay for them to stay meaning I need an rsvp for adults and kids in advance.
Part 2. Lunch at Pizzeria Unos up the parking lot from the theatre. I didn't like the lunch options at the theatre so we are going to walk the kids "preschool style" to the restaurant after the movie, or if the parents are there they can bring them. Again, it would be helpful to have a count for parents and kids since I will get a heavy nibs table set for the parents to much on and I would hate to overorder. All the kids will get to make their own pizza.
I am trying to think of a cool pocket style invite or maybe fan style that combines the pizza, the movie, the birthday, and maybe even the "transylvania" thing.
My first thought was a haunted castle with the ticket and a pizza slice inside with a rsvp card/envelope...but I am not wrapping my head around it. Then I thought a simple pocket folder with a front image that looks like a movie strip...one character of a girl with a balloon, one with a slice of pizza, and one with popcorn. And just have plain cards inside?
I normally do over the top crafty parties. This is the first I am doing at a place where I really don't do anything!! GASP!! So the invite is kind of my baby! OH and a craft...Have to think of the perfect craft!!!
Thanks for your crafty brains!!
