Cracker Jack

Bought a bag of Cracker jack today. I buy some every now and then. I noticed they dont put alot of peanuts in previously so this time i counted the peanuts(yes, I need a life). There were exactly 12 peanuts in the bag, i like the nuts so i wish there were more. 12 nuts? They need to add more. And whats with the "toy". It isnt a toy, it is a paper thing a majig. I remeber when i was a kid you would get a real toy such as a plastic ring, etc.Also, is Cracker jack available in the classic box anymore? I only see it available in the bag. Ok, i am finished lol

At least you didn't count the number of popcorn pieces and come up with a peanut/popcorn ratio. That would be not having a life.

I haven't had cracker jacks in years. I used to hate the peanuts and only eat the popcorn. I liked the prizes.

I prefer Crunch n' Munch. More peanuts and the toffee is better than the caramel

There are some stores in my areas that still sell boxes. I agree years ago the surprises were pretty cool now it seems like they are mostly paper figures.

I only see them in bags. I like Crunch n Munch and Poppycock.
When I was younger, I always picked out the peanuts. I like peanuts but couldn't stand the ones in the Cracker Jack box.
We used to get such good prizes inside. Yes, most now are just paper things. Not worth anything.

The prizes suck now, too. In the past times I have bought Cracker Jack for DSs, it has been a tattoo or a sticker. I remember the rings, which were cool..but apparently too expensive now.

They come in bags now? What happened to the boxes? I have to agree with a pp who ate only the caramel corn and not the peanuts. I threw those out.

I'd be glad to get only 12 nuts!! LOL!!! I used to throw them away too, or give them to my Mom. She loved them.

Here you can buy them in boxes, but they come either 4 or 6 taped together. We went through a phase where DD wanted them for snack at school.

I love cracker Jacks!
