Well Im glad Im not the only one with the crab meat problems! I just made crab dip over the holidays and it was terrible. I had been waiting for years to use this recipe (I had loved it at a party and asked the hostess for the recipe.) Anyway, it looked so gross to me that I didnt even try it, and hardly anyone ate it (DH didnt even like it, and hell eat anything!). I have no idea what I did wrong. Then I had leftover crabmeat but I didnt know how long it would be good so I threw it out. What a waste!
