Crab Cakes are one of those things where there are so many different styles, and there's no 'wrong' way to fix them.
Since my mom makes the best crab cakes EVER (lol--she didn't cook like that when i was a kid!) that's what I use as a basis for comparison. I don't like my crab cakes to be mushy or have too much mayo in them, and tend to enjoy those that are drier.
I love the ones a Kona, except I think they're rather small. Crispy on the outside with lump crab on the inside.
Try them - you'll probably enjoy them. But you may wonder why you spent that much, because they are rather pricey. I also like Tim's over at Flying Fish Cafe. But my mom's version is better than both.
