Currently I have two reservations and I'm trying to decide which to cancel.

Cast of characters is: ME (da Mommy), DD-8, DS-6, DS-2
My sister and niece (14)

I have two rooms with the fall & holiday dreammaker package at All Star Movies.

I also have one room only ressie at the Contemporary Tower.

We will be arriving on Wednesday evening for 5 nites, but my sister will not be arriving until late on Thursday nite, so I will be there alone with all the kids for the first full day (Thursday). Really wanted to stay at the Contemporary, but like the idea of having 2 bathrooms and 2 tvs and therefore 2 rooms at ASMovies. However, I know that we will be spending most of our time at MK (2 nites of MVMCP) and with one in a stroller I think the CR will be more convenient. Also, I love the idea of having an MK view--what are my chances of getting that since we won't be checking in until about 7-7:30pm?

Which ressie should I cancel.

I'd cancel CR. 6 people in a room is going to be crowded. I'd take 2 bathrooms, TVs, more beds and space over close proximity to MK.

yeah, but I'm thinking many people put 5 in these rooms with no problems. They are so much bigger than most other rooms. I can't imagine that my extra child (2 1/2) will take up that much more room. I don't think we will even get a crib for him as he will sleep on the floor or in bed with me.

As much as I love the CR, I would keep the two rooms at the AllStars. 6 is just too many people for that long a stay. If it were for a night or two then I would do it. But even with the rooms being large, they aren't that large!! But, that's just me. I'm one of those people that have no problem with the AllStars.

Thanks for your replies. I think I'm going to go with the Contemporary just for convenience sake. My sister is not arriving until Friday morning so I will be there with the kids until then by myself.

I would definitely do the CR. You cannot believe the beautiful view of the magic kingdom. The rooms are large. I have a family of 5 and we are always comfortable in the tower rooms. The bathrooms are large and have a nice layout with the toilet and another sink in a separate room.

It is very easy to walk to the MK. About 10 minutes. We are also doing the xmas party and specifically booked the CR for it's convenience. Who wants to stand in a crowded monorail, bus or boat line after a long day?

You will LOVE it!!!:earsgirl:

I would have gone with All-Stars myself. One thing for sure, do yourself a favor and make sure the little ones get a nap before MVMCP. One thing I did enjoy about it last year was a lot of parents with little kids were gone after a couple of hours. We were able to ride Big Thunder and Splash mountain without having to get off.

Your niece will come in handy with helping you with the kids.

Good Luck,
Shirley

If you are going to do it, might as well do it right! Go with the CR if you are that confident that the room will not be crowded, I agree with the whole convenience thing, especially with a 2 1/2 yr old. You do not want to mess with the buses , folding up the stroller, etc. And depending on where your room is at All-stars you may be walkng forever! It will be like hearding sheep with all of those kids just getting to your room, and when you are tired...for get it!
Go with CR!

Have fun!

I think the room limit is 5 people? Just make sure they don't get upset and make you take an additional room...
