CR standard room during value season

There is nothing to be found! I plugged every week during the 11-30 to 12-18 season into disney.com and there is no availability. I also tried the last week in October but there were no cheap rooms. Oh well...is this common? If I tried Dreams Unlimited do you think they'd be able to get a standard room?

My guess is a lot of the rooms are not available because of a convention, however if you keep trying I am sure one will become available. Usually the closer to a convention they get some guests who cancel, so that means the rooms would become available.

I just went to WDW.com and found a Bay view tower room for $380/n from Dec 2-9. This is new, as there has been no availability until this afternoon, and its still there.

The standard view rooms tend to go quickly, because there aren't many of them. It's not much more for the garden view, and some of the views are really nice.

CR tends to show very limited availability most of the time, because of all the conventions that cycle through. If you want to stay there, you need to keep trying, daily if necessary, so you can catch a room when a convention releases their unused inventory back.

The rooms at the CR sell out quickly for early December. Alot of people like to stay there becasue of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. They can walk over to the Magic Kingdom for the party and avoid using the Disney transportation system. With the north wing gone, there are very few standard view rooms available. I made reservations for my 12/08 trip in November '07.
