cr room location

disney bound may 23 with my son and several of his friends celebrating high school graduation. we will be staying in the north garden wing. i want to make this a magical time for them, so i need some suggestions for room locations that will give me a good view of the water and still keep me close to the main tower. please help!

Personally, unless you'll be going to the main building a lot I wouldn't request to be near it. You can only get to MK by the resort monrail (and Epcot by changing trains at TTC) if that is why you want near the tower. The bus stop is between the NGW and the tower.

Personally, I would choose the South Wing, room 5101 through 5115 or so, rooms facing the pool. I believe you would want only odd numbered rooms, but I'm not sure. We had room 5111 in 2000 and it was great. We walked right out the patio to the pool. If the pool isn't a big deal, then try to get a room that is as close to the tower as possible, by the end of the stay the walk back to the room can be a long one otherwise. If you can get a room close, try to get the 1st floor, no matter what wing. The ducks will come right to your patio.

You can only get to MK by the resort monrail

There is alway a walking path to the MK from the CR...very pleasant and takes most people proably 5-10 minutes to do it...

goofyposter ... if you read my post, it is clear I am referring to what parks you can get to from the monorail, not how you can get to MK. Many times people assume that they want near the monorail station at an MK resort so they'll have easy access to the parks.
