My fiance and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon, May 10 -20 and staying at CR. We booked for a garden view room and requested the north wing. Any suggestions on room numbers? Do any of the north wing rooms have a view of MK? Thanks for your help!

Hi there! Well some of the north wing rooms would have a view of Space Mountain/Magic Kingdom, but ironically they would be the standard view rooms, not garden view. That's because the parking lot is between the north wing and the Magic Kingdom, so parking lot view is also Magic Kingdom view LOL. Some of the garden view rooms have a wonderful lake view though, very serene and pretty. I guess it just depends on which view you'd like more. Myself I always request first floor so that I get a patio with chairs, as the second and third floors don't have balconies.

Yes!
We stayed North wing, 2nd floor, abt in the middle. Had a great MK view & could see the fireworks from our window.

Just ask for a fireworks view.

Enjoy your stay!!

I've stayed in the North Garden Wing as well. We were all the way in the back on the first floor. We were right on Bay Lake and it was just beautiful. Every morning we had ducks on our patio that were so cute and at night we could watch the fireworks at MK from the beach and could also sit out on our patio and watch the Electrical Water Pageant at night. :)

We were in room 7232 and could see both the shores of Bay Lake and the fireworks at night....we were in room 7329 for one night on our last trip and we had a great view of the shores of Bay Lake and even Space Mountain! (and the fireworks). Be advised that these two rooms are kind of a hike from the main building/food and fun center for drink refills, etc., but otherwise are very nice rooms.

Thank you for your help thus far!

If possible does anybody have specific room numbers we should look for?? We are looking forward to the wonderful experiences that everyone has discussed!!

Great tips for the rooms in the north garden wing. We will be arriving for our first stay at the CR 11-29 staying in the north garden wing. I hear there are no coffee pots in the rooms. Does any know if they have VCR's or hair dryers? I'm thinking about getting one of those Melita one cup coffee makers(some starbucks french roast) and some styrofoam cups. I'm the only only drinking coffe in my family. Less than two weeks!!!!!!!! YIPPEE!

We stayed in 8129, on the end and on a corner, so we had a window on the side (across from the beds) and the sliding glass door to the patio (1st floor) was on the far side (away from the door).

Had fireworks/Space Mountain out the window, and the beach out the patio. It was great! ::yes::

I will be glad to let you know about the room when we get back. We will be there 7 nights so we should have some good information for you!

Beaker74,
Also make sure the CR knows this is your honeymoon and you just might get some magic in the form of a room upgrade to the tower. That would make for a magical honeymoon!! Good luck to you.

Your Majesty,
We had to request a coffee maker for our room ( it was a 4 cup one), and we didnt have a VCR that I can remember. We did have a hair dryer in the bathroom also.

Have a great time guys!princess:
