Does anyone know when the rumored rehab at the CR is due to start?

We are booked into the Tower for 4 nights in September and I was wondering if I should think about switching my ressie.

Thanks

I have a res for the end of March and have been telling my son how great the gameroom is. If it's closed when we go he will be extremely disappointed! I have also made priority seatings at Concourse Steakhouse which is one of my favorites and I will be really disappointed if it's closed! I finally get to stay there and now I'm worried. :sad2:

I was also wondering if there is a MAJOR rehab on, will they move guests who have booked to other resorts or expect them to put up with restaurant or pool closures or whatever?

I could try and switch ressies now before the other monorail resorts get booked or wait to see if Disney move me themselves.

Anyone got expreience of what happens during rehabs?

Thanks

when they closed the moderates - sometimes for a little more you got a deluxe - so with it already being a deluxe - I would think if any availabilty you would be fine. if you wait and let WDW move up. If you try to do it yourself before - expect to pay extra.

for the details read the January newsletter at the top of this board.

okay this is just a guess - but since they are putting the Concourse steakhouse where the game room and snack bar were - then maybe they will put a game room on the 4th floor where the Concourse is now...

of course they can also just be making Chef Mickey's even larger.

I wonder what they will do with the guests... I wonder if they will move them?

I'm going mid-March and wondering the same thing myself. I did read a post that somewhen was having a hard time booking a room in July, so maybe that's the time that it will start. I'm hoping while we are there, the most that will be done is that the they will close the Concourse Steakhouse while they put the new food court done in there, and they won't close the current food court until the new one is done.
