CR Question - tower rooms?

Can someone explain the difference between the tower rooms and others? I'm not sure I understand the difference between the tower and the wings. thx.

The tower is the main building where the monorail goes through and also houses the lobby, food court, restaurants and shopping. The wings are seperate buildings off the back where the garden rooms are located. Tower rooms have either the bay lake view or the Magic Kingdom view and are also where the concierge rooms are located. If staying in the wings you will have to go to the main building (tower) to go to the food court.

Is it a long walk?

The rooms themselves besides view / location have only 1 difference: (otherwise identical) the bathroom sink. In the wing rooms the 2 sinks are next to each other in the main area of the bathroom (with tub) on the large marble counter. The commode room only has toliet, and a vanity area with mirror. Tower rooms tub area has only 1 sink in center of marble counter slightly smaller (rounder), and in commode area there is a sink with the vanity counter & mirror.

Wings are NOT a far walk to the main building IMHO. But once we were at the farthest end of the south garden, and it was a longer walk to main building. However, we have also been in the tower on all floors and waiting for the elevator is sometimes quite a wait. They are fast but full with luggage and strollers alot of times, too.

If given the option, and $$$ is not matter, I prefer the tower. The view speaks for itself. Either side. However, for the $ of the garden / std. view the CR is a bargin. Location, Location, Location! Remember the rooms are virtually identical.
