CR or Poly Tower?

We're headed to Disney next month (so excited!) and STILL can't decide where to stay. We've changed our trip so many times. It'll be my husband and I (we've been to WDW many times) and our just-turned 3 year old for her first trip.

Trying to decide between AKL savannah view, or a split stay between the Beach Club and an MK area resort. We know AKL has great food, a playground and lots of activities for kids so we were leaning this way, doing a slower and more resort-centered trip.

I'm also able to book Beach Club for the first half of our trip (my favorite resort), and then both a deluxe studio at the new Poly Tower or a water view room in the Contemporary tower. Any advice on which to choose? Normally I'd choose Poly no question, but don't know much about the new Island Tower or what to expect. Will transportation be a pain in the butt compared to the Contemporary?

I really have no idea which way to go here, and our trip is coming up quick. Any advice is very much appreciated!

We stayed at CR with our then-4yo and 2yo sons. Loved the size of the room and nothing could beat walking to/from MK. We, too, had a water-view room and loved seeing the electrical water parade every night. We did a split stay at AKL that trip as well in a savanna room. My kids enjoyed the pool and playground at AKL a lot. My thought is maybe do a split stay with AKL and CR (for your MK days). Also, depending on when your trip is next month, SAB will be closed at BC (not sure if that matters).

Poly is a better resort with a three year old, IMHO, and might as well try the new Tower while you have the chance with a cash reservation before all the points are sold. Those Deluxe Studios are going to be pretty small though, but with three it's probably manageable.

Assuming you know Stormalong Bay at Beach Club is closing in January for a multi-month refurbishment? It's January so swimming may be hit or miss on your trip anyway, just making sure you know.

At that age I viewed all of our trips as learning adventures - we learned a lot each trip about what worked/didn't work for us, sometimes we guessed correctly, sometimes not!

Hard to make a bad choice here though.

We toured Poly Tower at Preview Center a month ago...I'd go for that over anything else!! Gorgeous!!
