Hi lauren,
We were there 9/10-9/21, so it was still hot and humid as he** while we were there. Plus, it rained every afternoon/evening starting somewhere between 4 and 8 o'clock. Anyway, because it was always raining when we left the park, and it was already hot in the morning when we left the hotel, we only walked to MK once. The walk is pleasent and takes about 10 minutes. I think if you're going in November, walking would be awesome! It should be a lot cooler and much less humid. The monorail is great on the way back to the CR, because the CR is the first stop. As far as we could tell, we were treated no differently than the "real" CR guests. In fact, I was sort of tearful while we were checking out, and the CM (Rosa) was so nice. She pulled out a disposable camera, took 2 pics of us, gave us the camera, and said, "See, when you look at these pictures, you'll remember that you had so much fun that you were sad to leave. Maybe you'll stay with us again!" Then she thanked my DH for serving in the military. I don't know if you're traveling with kids, but in case you are, the CR has covered over their kiddie pools. None of the lifeguards seemed to know why. There were lots of little kids in the main pool though, and they looked like they were having lots of fun. In one of the old kiddie pool spots there's now a playground, so there's 2 playgrounds on the lagoon side of the NGW. We saw lots of families sitting on their patios watching their kids play out on the playgrounds. Whew! I've probably told you way more than you wanted to know! Hope this helps.
