Wondering if there is any difference in the rooms in the south garden vs. tower rooms? (since the updates are over). I know the 1st floor gardens have a patio and others have the patio window, but do they open? Do the gw rooms have ceiling fans? (i know the tower does not) Any difference in the bathrooms? Any problems with noise in gw (tower is pretty quiet).

Thanks mky:cutie:

I believe that the rooms in the tower and garden wing are the same in design and layout and amenities. The gw rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors do have sliding windows that open, just nowhere to go once they are open. When we stayed there we noticed no noise in the gw. seems like the tower with the monorail and restarurants would be noisier.

thanks,

I don't think the tower is very noisy on the mkv side. Yes, when going to the room you would here noise but once in, very quiet. You could get a little vibration from the monorail occassionally. Never ever heard the neighbors. We split our stay with poly & you could hear everything in the rooms surrounding us. Might of been, that we had a room with a connecting door to another room.

thanks, mky:cutie:

If anything the GW rooms, with possibly the ones that face the pool and the parking lot, are quieter than the tower rooms, if that sounds possible.

We had a room looking out on the canal between Bay Lake and 7 Seas Lagoon and it was nice to sit on the patio and watch the boats go by and listen to, well, nothing.

We once had a 6th floor room on the Magic Kingdom side and did not hear any vibrations from the Monorail when it was going through.
