For those who have stayed in the garden wing did it make anything seem less "special" since you weren't staying in the tower. I'm used to having to walk to get to the monorail as I usually stay at the Poly, but I'm thinking of branching out to CR and the garden wing is cheaper. Thanks in advance! :)

The only difference is the wing rooms don't have balconies. I have stayed as far out in the wing as you can get and it still took me less than five minutes to get to the 4th floor. I've had some long waits for the tower elevators, so I don't see being in the tower as being all that much more convenient. The rooms are the same size, layout and decor, so you don't miss out on anything there. I find the wing to be quieter and more relaxing than the tower. You are also very convenient to the pool when staying in the wing.

The garden wing rooms don't take away the magic for us. We usually have a great view of the monorails coming and going which my kids love. It is very close to the pool and only a few minutes walk to the tower.

We really enjoyed being in the Garden Wing on our last trip and booked it due to it being the cheapest possible way to stay at the CR. We could see the pool from our room and requested a 1st floor to have a patio for extra space. We use the pool everyday with our boys so it was a perfect location for us. It is/was very quiet in there, didn't see too many people, but we were there at a quieter time (end of August). The walkway between the Wing and Tower is covered as well, so even in the pouring rain you don't get wet and it's really no more than a few minutes walk. We did end up being moved into the Tower for the last 2 nights of our trip due to a bathroom leak, so they were nice and upgraded us to a MK view room in the Tower. While there is nothing more spectacular than that view and we really enjoyed our last 2 nights there watching the fireworks from our balcony, we never would have paid the price difference for that room. It was definitely noisier in the Tower and the elevators were almost always busy. I would not say no to a free upgrade for the view alone, but I'd stay in the Garden Wing in a heartbeat again. All the conveniences of the CR (walking to MK is beyond fabulous!) with a much better price tag.

We have stayed in both Tower and Garden, and found Garden perfectly magical. Have a great trip!!

I have not stayed in the Garden Wing but what I do know is those rooms are 5 minutes or less away from the Tower and you are under a covered walkway, so if it rains you can't get wet.

We loved the Wing rooms. No need to stand and wait for an elevator. And they were very quiet.
